Smile Look in gallery...

I don't have that template, but looking in the gallery [used the search box and type cloud] I found a lot of examples. They might be helpful. Here are just 2....

I start at the top of the card and, using a sponge with a light blue ink, dab along the edge. Keep moving the template around and down and keep sponging along the edges. You may have to play around a bit to get the kind of clouds you like. I hope this helps; not sure if I explained it very well.

How to use a Cloud Stencil

The wavy edge goes to the top of your paper when using.
With a sponge inked in blue ink, starting low on the sky portion of the card and keep it light. The closer to the ground the lighter the sky will be.
Move the stencil up and to the left or right and do 2nd row just a bit darker
than the first. I try not to keep it straight across but angled so one end is higher than the other. Move up and to left or right again until your sky is filled.

Some people start at the top and it makes no difference either way. Just remember the lower the sky the lighter the color. I always do a light sponging where sky meets the ground also.

Thanks ladies for both asking this question and for those answering the question!

I bought the cloud template in March and had not even tried it yet. I can see now that I will be using it this weekend for sure!
