Question clear medallion stamp?

i was wondering if anyone has made the medallion stamp a clear mount and if so does it fit on any clear block?

You can always use those die machine cutting plates ( BigShot, Cuttlebug, Sizzix,....) The plate just needs to be clean and with no cuts on it. That is how I stamp the my larger background stamps from Hero.

That's brilliant. I never thought of that, either.

It should fit on the largest clear block (can't remember the letter) but I'm pretty sure it's sized for background stamps.

Though I don't have any plans of unmounting the medallion stamp, I do have the stamp and the large clear block. It's block F. Fits great. The F block would fit all of the background stamps.

But on the flip side (no pun really intended), I often stamp my large back ground stamps by laying them stamp side up and then applying the paper. So if you do that and have a nice smooth surface, you don't need to mount the stamp to a block at all.

There's also a new large acrylic "block" that's sold with a handle on it. It's actually curved, so you rock the large stamp from one end to the other to stamp it. It makes stamping huge unmounted stamps so much easier! I got mine at my LSS and it was $25, which I thought was a ridiculous price until I used it. Plus, the handle makes it a lot easier to ink while holding in your hand.

I LOVE this stamp. I've used it for wedding, thank you, new baby, & mother's day cards in all sorts of colors. I could definitely see using it for other holidays, too, in the appropriate colors.

Maybe I will consider using it as a clear-mount so I can line things up more perfectly... hmmm..... thanks for the idea!!

Mike's carries Tack It Over. I have found it in the adhesives aisle, on the shelves towards the bottom.

Good luck!

I'm sure somebody has answered by now - but I bought this stamp with the intention of using it on a block, and it fits on the largest one perfectly. I was able to make some gorgeous invites for a bridal shower with it and having it on the clear block helped so much! (I had to make 80 invites and was able to stamp two invites at a time with the clear block!!) Making them with the wood block would have been...disastrous I believe. :P
