I have heard that yo-yo yellow will clean off the Stazon. Some people have a yoyo yellow dedicated to this purpose. I haven't tried it yet -- but plan to order another yoyo yellow soon for this reason!!!

To get Versamark off, I spray cleaner right onto the rubber and go after it with a toothbrush. I use a recipe from this site for cleaner: a couple tablespoons of rosewater with glycerin (from Walgreens), a squirt of baby wash, and 8 oz. water. The original recipe called for distilled water, but I just use tap water, since ours is pretty soft.

Good luck!

My demo told us about a cleaner she found at the dollar store called Awesome that is really good for getting Versamark off. Hopefully Stampin' Up will put the Staz-On cleaner in the catalog for 2005-2006. That would be great! Hope that helps!

I have the StazOn cleaner and I think it's only o.k.

I have to say that Huggies baby wipes take it off pretty well. It's not easy, but a little elbow grease and a wipe does a good job.

My stamps are never perfectly clean but it never effects the image. IMO, if they are they're not being used enough!!

I use staz on cleaner but I leave it on for a bit. I wipe it off with an old terry cloth towel, then clean with stampin mist and scrub. When I just put it on and rubbed it off I wasn't too impressed either. This way seems to really soak in and release the staz on.

Default removing versamark or stazon ink

I use goo-be-gone cleaner (found in my local hardware store). It is really for removing the sticky glue left behind after removing a sticker but works wonders with an old toothbrush on stamps!
