Cleaning Foam Attachment to Brayer

How do you all clean the foam attachment to your brayer? I can't find any instructions on doing it in the box it comes in. I don't want to wash it in hot/soapy water if I am not supposed to!

That's how I do mine. then I lean it up against the wall to dry. Some people kinda squeeze it out on a paper towel.
There was a thread about it somewhere in here...I don't know how to attach a link though.

I rinse mine out right in the sink after I'm done w/it. I haven't needed to use soap, since I do it right away, but if you leave it sit, you will probably need some sort of detergent? I keep a set of old kitchen towels to dry it with, after I squeeze out the excess water. This works pretty good, and I usually can go back to using it right away, like for switching colors w/the plaidmaker. I DO confess to owning 3 foamies, but I still sometimes need to rinse out because I like to make a big stash of plaid paper all at once. I figure if I have everything out and messy, might as well "get my money's worth" right???

I slide the foam off of the cylinder and clean it. I put a little dish soap on it and squeeze out all the old color under running water. Then I put it in an old kitchen towel and kind of wring it out. Then slide it back on the cylinder. I have tried to do it on the barrel, but I can never get all the color out.
