Clean and Simple Favorites for the Week ending August 14, 2011
Hi Everyone,
I'm honoured to be filling in for Susan R. (LateBlossom) who has to take time away from the keyboard for awhile. And I'd like to thank all of you CAS stampers who inspire me so much - and who've taught me so much.
It was very hard to narrow down my favourites to a manageable list but here goes:
CAKath used one of my favourite sketches as a way to highlight some dp: Fun with DP- Thoughts and Thanks
fionna51 made the sweetest baby card: quick baby card
Biggan made vanilla ice cream out of buttons - how brilliant is that! IC297 Vanilla Icecream
cmcmathey used markers, a mister, and an acrylic block to create a lovely background: PDCC94 - Watercolored background
ravengirl did the cutest snips and snails and puppy dog tails card: Little Boy Bear
k dunbrook used the most gorgeous shades of blue in different ways in these two cards: WT335, Blue Poppies
and : CAS130, Garden Tour
hobbydujour created the ocean with strips of dp for her lovely beach scene: WT335 On the Beach
I always appreciate Rox71's detailed notes on how she makes her cards. This one proves she's as good at CAS cards as at her more elaborate ones: CAS130 Cattails
Eileen LeFevre used fabulous wavy lines of stitching to border her lovely blue image: CAS130 Just Believe
elmo98ca rock and rolled some terrific sunny flowers: Botanical Birthday
krista824 did amazing direct-to-paper inking to create a seascape: Sail Away CAS
kyann22 combined two embossing folders and black and white to make this beautiful textured card: Embossed Hope
janesomer combined emboss resist with a text stamp for a lovely Christmas card: CCC 11 - June -JHS
Missro layered leaves over a text stamp for a perfect autumn card: CAS130, CC335, Autumn Leaves
hskelly aced the CAS sketch challenge with her beautiful poppies: CC335 CAS130 Celebrate Your Day
resqbarbie made a stack of brightly coloured teacups that I'd like to own (I drink a lot of tea): Smiles across the miles CAS130
hollerinastamps used the French Foliage stamp set to perfection: CAS130 ~Falling Leaves~
cookiebaker used a simple leaf stamp in different shades of green to accompany one of the best sentiment stamps: CAS130 - Life
catcrazy made a perfect black and white CAS birthday card: CAS Birthday
Miss Boo used flourish stamps to create the leaves and stems for a prima flower: CAS130 - With love
girl3boys0 made a CAS Christmas card with stockings with glittered tops and toes: Shiny Stockings!
die cut diva used the gamsol technique to softly colour her Christmas chickadee: CAS Christmas
mom2n2 used white snowflakes on a kraft card and scattered some perfect blue bling to finish it off: CAS Winter Holiday card
Kelly H beautifully framed a mistletoe sprig: DTGD11Mothermark Ratty Wreath!
lisabeepianolovin combined kraft, red, and blue perfectly on this snowman card: Warm Winter Wishes
This list is probably far too long - so sorry if it is. Now everyone else please add some of your favourites as I know there are lots more great cards in the gallery!
Also I think this thread is supposed to have a "sticky" or something to keep it at the top of the list - I don't know how to do that so would someone please do it for me? __________________ Susan

on another note:
I just found out that I may be away next Sunday and would be unable to notify others about their card being mentioned here in the CAS thread.
Is there anyone out there that would be willing to notify if I have to go at the last minute??
If I can't find anyone, then I will do the notifying on Monday when I get back.
