Default Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending October 10, 2010

Welcome, one and all, to the Clean and Simple Favorites of the Week Thread! Everyone is invited to share their CAS favorites from the past week's gallery entries. It was a great week, and I'll get us started with some of mine.

ckidd posted a lovely natural and serene sympathy card using PTI's Leaf Prints

stampingout stitched her way to a lovely CAS one-layer thinking of you card

kanatanewf CASE'd one of my cards but kicked it up a notch with dimensionals and some lovely extra bling

JulieHRR, the queen of CAS, made me spend some money with her CAS use of washi tape on her belated birthday card

Tillymint made me smile with her one-layer Chinese lantern card accented with silver half beads

k dunbrook used three spots of color and a new angle on her very cool Hello My Friend card

stamperjen0 completely blew me away with her stunningly clean and pretty Rejoicing in Christmas card

billieprd used texture and color (plus a little well-placed bling!) for max impact on her Joy to the World card

StampGroover made creepy fabulously CAS with her Boo! card

criminalgrace created a lovely Christmas card with gray and green that is simply perfect

artystamper's one-layer sympathy card with frame and leaves is serene and comforting

sf9erfan stamped her way to autumnal splendor and used some well-placed gold half beads as the perfect CAS accents

kstamper created a totally rad grunge-collage birthday card on one layer for her son

ReginaBD used a popped element, a bit of dp, and ribbon on kraft for a warm and wonderful Christmas card

Biggan used a HUGE metal butterfly with perfect balance and harmony on her gorgeous OLC Enjoy

cadnileb created a set of lovely and CAS poinsettia Christmas cards

PaperInBloom's Spring Thanks card is a real stand-out in the last week's gallery with its light, fresh spring colors and lovely CAS layout

krystie lee used text background as a perfect backdrop for her fun Spiro flowers

WHEW! What a list! Please share your own favorites, and as you have time, please leave some love in the form of comments, both for these highlighted cards and for others you find in the gallery. We all love to get comments, and a little encouragement as we move into a very busy time of year will be AWESOME!

I have some more beauties to add...

Mutnik I just love this vase of flowers.
vdutchr So elegant yet so simple.
ravengirl This layout really caught my eye...
krystie lee A lovely touch of fall.
k dunbrook This faux letterpress is irresistible.
Biggan Birgit does such a wonderful job of white space. Love the colors!
sf9erfan Great layout with designer papers, but still clean...
papierbleu I love the multi-layer white to set off the image area.
Biggan Love the red! (I think I should just fave all of Birgit's gallery, I have so much of it already there.)

Thanks for all the eye-candy this week!

Thanks so much, Susan, for mentioning my Leaf Prints card. I must say, generally, all CAS inspiration I get, comes from your blog!

Thanks again,

Hi CAS sisters! I'm a LL (Layer Lover) and rarely get to contribute to this thread. But my favorite card this week is simple and elegant, and I think it applies. So here's my CAS favorite:

Thanks to you Diane, for mentioning my Faux Letterpress card. That was a technique that I had never tried before but was great fun. I really appreciate the mention.
It is our Thanksgiving weekend here, great way to celebrate.

ckidd posted a lovely natural and serene sympathy card using PTI's Leaf Prints

stampingout stitched her way to a lovely CAS one-layer thinking of you card

kanatanewf CASE'd one of my cards but kicked it up a notch with dimensionals and some lovely extra bling

Thank you so much for adding my card in your favourites Susan. I'm thrilled to be mentioned with such wonderful card makers.
