Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending July 25, 2010
Welcome to the Clean and Simple (or CAS) Favorites thread! EVERYONE is welcome to post favorite CAS projects from the last week's gallery submissions here. It's a great opportunity to share the love of CAS and support and encourage one another.
I'll get us started!
ravengirl created a super background using direct-to-paper for her wise men silhouette stamp (which I must have now)
Clownmom used lovely white-on-white layers, texture and simple black stamping to make her deliciously CAS congrats card
kthaman's colorful butterflies pop right off the crisp white background of her butterfly rainbow card
hskelly uses soft colors and wonderful texture on her FTL100 Sketch challenge card
fionna51 used white layers and pearl accents combined with a bit of tangerine to make a card that's both happy and serene
stampingout used a pre-made border to make a delightful butterfly card that flitted its way into my favorites
Cook22 pieced an adorably happy orange bird and put it in a cute little scene on her Tweety Hi card
k dunbrook sponged and doodled her way to a sweet and cheerful greeting to lift the spirits
bon2stamp made a one-layer Christmas card that is simply perfect in every way!
I'll be back after church to list the rest of my many favorites from the past week. In the meantime, why not make someone's day and share your own favorites?

Thanks, Susan, for mentioning my card today. I don't do CAS cards often, but I enjoyed making this one.
Many of mine have already been mentioned, but here are two others I've {heart}ed:
angelahath Look how she masked the woodgrain for the beaters and the p! And what great colors (Soft Suede Shout-out!).
Wattle Can't you just picture Jackie O with this purse?!? More importantly, I think you need to picture me with this purse because I want the paper version, as well as a real-life version!
Thanks so much Susan and Diane for the mention of a couple of my projects this week. I can't wait to see what else is in the favorites this week. Right off the top of my head, I just love Diane's White on White card with a touch of tangerine! It's such a beauty that I'm sure it has already been favorited today!
Hope I did this right. Opened another window and went to My favorites. Then I opened card, copied web mail, toggled back to original window (this one) and pasted here and left comments.

Wow - thank you Susan (LateBlossom) & Sam (allensm) for mentioning my Rainbow Butterflies card; and thank you to Susan (susanbri) for mentioning my Snowmen in Bermuda card (I kinda felt clever with the title, thanks for mentioning that too!). Thank you Karen for letting me know - your effort is very much appreciated!
GAck! I am just now getting a chance to come back and finish my favorites list. Some days are just like that, I suppose.
criminalgrace made a sweet little Christmas tree card with beautiful coloring
susanbri posted a lovely Christmas OLC with pressure and heat embossing
girlgeek101 also used embossing on her pretty Christmas OLC
clownmom used an upcoming owl stamp from Mark's Finest Papers in a perfectly CAS way
Jenn D used punched circles of DP to make a happy thank you card
It was certainly an awesome week in the gallery. Many thanks to all who take time to post CAS cards and to comment on them as well. SCS is such a great community!
