What day are you guys going? I'm on the fence about going right now, though. I'm trying to save my money for a trip to Vegas later in February for an art retreat. But maybe I'll go to see what's new and fun.
I'm going Saturday all day. I am taking 2 Quick Quotes classes and an advance technique class for the Slice. I'd love to meet up with anyone for lunch or for some shopping at the vendor fair.
CK Convention Addict - I'm going to be there all weekend. This is the one event I look forward to all year.
I'm trying to get a group of ladies together for the Friday night crop. So far I've had 5 people say they were intrested. I need to figure out a good place to meet up and reserve a table or two (or more )
For those who aren't familiar with the Friday night crop, here is the details.
CK Convention Crop Night
Location Oregon Convention Center Rose Quarter Portland, OR 97201 503/252-8300
Hold the date - This is the best, biggest crop of the year. Contests, prizes and free gifts galore. CK Convention is at the Convention Center February 4, 5, and 6, 2010. More details - where we meet up etc - to come.
This event requires registration through Creating Keepsakes. You are responsible for registering yourself and paying the crop fee. Don't wait - time is getting short.

Class Description Come celebrate a night of creativity with us at the Friday Celebration Crop. This year we�re introducing a crop contest where we�ll provide the project base and you provide the creativity. Rules will be explained at the crop and prizes will be awarded before the night is over.
In case you didn�t get enough shopping in during the day, there will be crop sales tables where vendors will be selling product so you can make those late night purchases.
And of course, there will be fun games, giveaways, prizes, and plenty of time for scrapping! Whether you are finishing projects from classes or starting a new album, you can crop the night away, chat with friends, and have an incredible time doing it.
As for the space issue, we always work to provide the maximum cropping space for our attendees. We realize that it is important to have room to work on your projects. We highly recommend that you think carefully about what you will realistically accomplish during the crops and only bring those supplies with you. Some croppers work on page kits or finish up projects from classes at the crop to minimize the supplies they need to bring.
You may bring your rolling tote to the crop. However, handcarts and wagons are not permitted. Be sure to mark your supplies clearly with your name. After all, you�d be surprised how many scrappers have the same tools as you!
�Student supplies needed: Before you leave home, take some time to prepare the projects you want to work on and only bring the supplies necessary for those projects. Space is limited at the crops, and we ask that you make every effort to bring only what you�ll need for 4-5 hours of scrapping. �Skill level: All Levels �Class length: 4.50 hours �Class price: $26.00
I'd totally love to meet at the Friday Nigth Crop. It all depends on if I'm taking the train to Portland or if I'm driving. We havent decided yet, but if I'm there intime I will join up with you.
If you are going to the Friday night crop at the CKC in Portland and want to get in early let me know. It cost $5.00 extra to get in early and reserve your space. I am planning on doing this and will pay for you to get in early. Just let me know that you want to do this. You can pay me back later.
I've been in touch with one of the CKC organizers. I need to pay her by credit card for everyone in our group that wants to get in early. That is why I said I would pay the early entry fee and people could pay me back later. After I give her the information I expect to get an email with more details.
I am signed up to get into the crop early so that I can reserve us a table. I will have a big red, white and black sign on the table saying "The Portland Scrapbooking Meetup Group".
