Some of my favorites from the last catty are It's Snow Time, Snowflakes and Solemn Stillness. Also love the Bold Snowflake wheel and Cold Play from the Holiday mini catalog that made this catty. I have all of these except Solemn Stillness.
If I had to choose one out of the new catty, It would be On the Spot Snowflake set. I wasn't really overly impressed with the sets..That is okay, though, cause I have many others from previous years to use! LOL Kerilou
i got lace snowflakes and ho-ho holidays from a girlfriend who hooked me on stampin up. i havent used both of it at all so far... but when i looked at the catty i really like spot snowflakes but i dont think it makes sense for me to buy that set.
maybe i just need to wait and see what you guys are making with the new set and i could copy it with my lace snowflakes set????
I love the City of David set....the Mary and Joseph are so cute and sweet looking (instead of realistic.) But I wonder.....is this the kind of set you use one time and then it gathers dust because "you've already used it?"
None of them in the catalog are speaking to me. Usually they come out with some great ones in the mini, so I don't mind right now. Christmas is my favourite time of year but, for some reason, I just could NOT get into Christmas cards last year. Don't know why. I'm hoping the bug will hit me this year though.

I am definitely a Festive Favorites Fan! I am doing snowmen themed christmas cards this year. The plan is to have them done by the end of september. That's the plan anyway.
Nothing really jumps out at me--I will wait for the mini and hopefully something says "i gotta have it". But once I see what everybody else makes, I'm sure there will be some that i end up neeeeedddddiiinnngg!!!!!
The last couple of years I was not impressed with any of the Christmas sets in either the main catty or the Holiday Mini but this year is different. My favorite so far is Festive Favorites. Especially since you can use the tag punch with it. That punch was a big hit with my club.

I don't know about you, but for me this is the case so far. It seems every year I just have to have the Christmas set that jumped out at me. I make my Christmas cards and then what. So far, I haven't re-used any of them. BTW, I love the City of David set, so I will more than likely get that one for this year.

I didn't really think I needed sparkling season when I first saw in it the catalog (its now retired), but I've seen (and made) some cute cards with it.
I loved trim a tree from the last holiday mini, but never purchased it because my demo has it. I join her christmas card club and make all my cards with her.
I am going to buy festive favorites on my next orde.r
I must have Glad tidings set from this years catty. I have the snowflakes set and Peace be unto you for my religious cards I like to send out. The glad tidings I think will be fun to use for my more fun cards I send out. What set do you think Glad tidings would work best with? The new santa set?
New sets in the Holiday Mini usually have a wide appeal and style. The past few years, I've ALWAYS bought my Christmas sets from the MINI. - Peaceful Wishes.
Me too! I also love City of David. These will be the three x-mas sets I buy this year. Winter, Religious and classic Christmas.
I too am loving the City of David set, in fact it is the first set I wrote down on my wish list from the catty. I'm not sure what I'll 'do' with it, or if I will get it, really, though. I'm waiting to see what the new A Muse Christmas Stamps look like first. (They debut next week.)
Then I will make my choice.

I keeping looking at the Spot Snowflake. I think I will have to buy it for my collection. I love snowmen and snowflakes, so even if I don't use it more than once, I'm happy. I have a sayings stamp from High Hopes that says something like "Snowmen fall from heaven unassembled". Perfect!
I can't wait to use Loads of Love for this season!
i totally forgot about the loads of love set!!!!!!!!!!! man, i have that set!!! i cant believe i forgot about it... it almost seams i have a ton of sets at home??? ;) but nope... it just seems 2 pregnancies caused some brain loss.
I just bought City of David with my first 'new catty' order, but I am really excited to see what is in the new mini. I usually find that the mini sets appeal to me more than the regular catty. Only a couple of more weeks 'til we demos get our copy!!! (Is it here yet? Is it here yet? How 'bout now - is it here yet?):-D

I really like Festive Favourites, but I think I will wait for the holiday mini and check it out first. Its funny, last year was my first year stamping and I had no self control whatsoever when it came to purchasing things. This year I am being a lot more level headed. How wrong is that! LOL.
My favs are The Snowflake Spot, Festive Favorites, City of David, and Peaceful Wishes. And every time I look at O Tannenbaum I can imagine that tree embossed with white EP on Night of Navy CS so that may end up on my list too.

I totally love Snowflake Spot -- I'm so glad they added a new snowflake set. I have a thing for snowflakes and there hasn't been a new set in a while. LOVE this one!
I can't wait to make my Christmas cards using Snowflake Spot!! I love this new set. I might make some religious ones using City of David as well for the people who I know would appreciate it.
