Default Christmas Recommendations??? Please help.

I am a novice stamper and am itching to start my Christmas cards!!:p

I would love peoples thoughts as to the best Christmas stamp set to purchase... I am after something classy, as I already have a "fun" set.

Thanks!!!

Snow Swirls is beautiful, simple (no coloring in), and looks great embossed in gold or silver. I got it and LOVE it. Check out the gallery for it here. It's beautiful.

And welcome to SCS!

I just ordered Snow Swirls for one of my fast cards. I don't think you will go wrong with this, like Susan said no coloring dtp or embossed. It is also on sell right now so that is a plus!

Its not technically a Christmas set, but you can use it as one. Its the LOVELY AS A TREE set. Gorgeous samples in the galleries.

Right after I posted, I wondered if it was in your catty or not. If baroque motifs is available, that one makes pretty Christmas cards and is as easy to use as Snow Swirls, you'd just need a Merry Christmas sentiment.

Just look for a solid block image set rather than something requiring coloring in if you want quick and easy.

Another vote for Lovely as a tree it is a great all round set. I also like A wish for Peace.

Yes, the new snow swirl set is wonderful. I also think having a basic snowflake set is always a good set to have on hand.

I just started to play with the set "Christ is Born" and really like it for a classic look. Depending on whether or not you like the sentiments included, it's a really basic set that could do a lot!

Here's the card I'd made using the current inspiration challenge!

I, too, am a Lovely as a Tree fan - I've used it twice for Christmas. There are so many things you can do with this set. I've used it for Christmas, birthdays, and harvest cards.
