My customers are making 370 cards tomorrow total... I cut out extras of those. I plan to get them started and then maybe get some of mine done if things are going smoothly.

I know the size I am making. I know what stamp I am using, have done a test run of coloring it. I'm just trying to decide on how to do my backgrounds. As I have a lot of Christmas papers I was thinking of a quilt effect, but it could turn out to be very CAS!

Iris, I'm making some quilting friends of mine some quilt style Christmas cards for them to use. They'll be on the lines of these.
I want to ammend my vote. I don't "give out" cards per se, i will give a card to family members with their gifts...other than that I make cards to sell. I've made about 40-50 cards for sale, and plan on making a heck of a lot more!!!! I've dropped off 20 cards at the flower shop already, and have a bunch more to go this weekend.

I design for: Stampendous!, There She Goes, Technique Tuesday,
SRM Stickers and Deconstructed Sketches.
I've made mine throughout the year, and it's amazing how they pile up. I still have a couple of "special" ones but need some 12x12 white and I typically don't stock 12x12. I just counted and have 50 made so need about 25-30 more. That's good because I've seen several I want to CASE. Happy weekend everyone :>)
I create enough cards as design team samples that I don't need to create any extras. I just send out what I have on hand and most are one of a kinds because I rarely mass produce or even duplicate anything. It's nice to have one less thing to stress about it.
Almost done here. Have made about 40 cards of 3 designs and have even written and enveloped them. Just have to do maybe one more design for 15 cards and that should do me. Hope to get them done this weekend.
I was done before school started--I'm a teacher and my stamping time is severely (!!!) limited during the school year, so I do a LOT of creating during the summer. I made about 6-8 of about 8 different designs.
I have not even started yet, I have a design in mind, but have yet to make one and see how I like it, I do not make too many, 20-30 or so. They will be simple and not thick, I am tired of paying the extra $$ at the post office.

I have already made approx 2000 Christmas cards..lot of different ones...now I am working on my own and I just love them. They should be finished this weekend. I will send out approx 60.
blessings.
i havent started mine yet, or my Thanksgiving either, but, i have been busy making gifts, and also table favors for a meeting, so doing ok i guess, feeling a bit of pressure but none too bad LOL
I make about 100 and have half done. I need to get moving as I try to have them done before Thanksgiving. Last year I was super late and pulled some really late nights to get them out in time.
I am officially jealeous of everyone that has a good start or are already finished.
OK I already told DH no one can bother me tomorrow. I am getting at 5am (I always do)
then I will have my coffee and SCS time and then its stamping all day long.

i'm done...
i started in january with a goal to do 10 each month because i wanted them to all be different this year.
i did have a slump over the summer months which i anticipated but i caught back up!
between all the different ones i made and the stamp-a-stack i did last sunday plus i have a hand full from last year... i have almost 140 cards.
definitely more than i ended up needing, but i have found a charity that is in need of cards and have also had a couple gift exchanges added to my list that will take up the extras!
seems i am still 'in the mood' tho! so i have been making lots of GC holders!
I started in June because of a card I had seen a year ago here...I had to special order the stamp (Bubble Tree), buttons, made a mistake trying to make my own Stickles, but 26 are done and if you get one you are very special indeed as they are 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and each took a 6 x6 envie and extra postage. Merry Christmas to you!
I'm almost done. But mine are SUPER SUPER SUPER simple. I'm doing a challenge on another site so when I do the Christmas card for that I usually make a few more since I have all my junk out, LOL! I still need to work on my Christmas letter though. Making the cards is the fun and easy part. Its the addressing and signing them that is a pain, LOL!
I have finished about 110. Half to mail to family and friends and half to sell. I'm still making more as I have a craft show on Friday and Saturday of next week.

I have a small family and I only have to send about 20 (that 20 is not all family). I'm doing a simple card this year with the cuttlebug folder Winter Houses.

I had about 5 different designs for cards this year, cuz I couldn't make up my mind what I really wanted and more awesome things kept showing up everywhere. My holiday cards (Christmas and Thanksgiving) have been done since August.

It's too early to begin Christmas Cards yet. Just finished Halloween and it's not even Thanksgiving. Let's not rush things.
I will start on my cards December 1st in time to mail on the 15th.
I make my cards by hand and address the envelopes on the computer individually. No address labels for me....too business like. Handmade cards have handmade envelopes.
I only mail out 25 cards, so it only takes about 2 weeks to do them.
I participated in several wonderful Christmas swaps this year and I've turned all my favorites into full cards and will be sending those. Almost everyone will get a unique card and it will double as a fabulous way to clear out my stock to make room for new cards.
Designing and making them is the easy part- actually writing a note in them (which I always do) and addressing the envelopes is what takes me until sometime in early January! I counted what I've made so far and have about 32 I think, but I have some left over from last year so I'll send those too!
I have mine ready for my class, but have not thought for myself yet. I do the standard A2 size for my classes, but like to do a larger size to fit a photo for myself.
I voted done and ready to give out - though I still have to address them. I am so glad I took part in the CCC09 challenge. It was an uphill struggle in May, June and July, but so liberating to be finished in good time. Just not sure how many I need as *extras*, but I think I am covered for all emergencies.
I have most of mine cut and stamped, just not assembled. I will assemble them over Thanksgiving weekend while I am at the in-laws and the 20 hours in the car to get there and back. So, hopefully within 2 weeks they will be ready to go.

I've been making Christmas cards since August. I'm an SU demo and I've been making cards and cutting paper for my Stamp Camps, Club and other SU events. I started making 2 of each and I put one away. I always end up sending out a lot of samples I make too. Recently I started making 4 of each when it was an easy one I really liked. I usually have about 50 different cards and we send about 110 cards.
DH does the family newsletter (with pictures and text) and he does a great job. And this year we're celebrating a new granddaughter, as we did last year! We fold the newsletters in half and I stick one of my cards in the large-sized envelope. I'm hoping people look at the cards and don't just read the newsletter!! <G>
So I have no idea how many cards I've made - 60 maybe? Maybe more... I need to look at our list - last year I just kept making them and making them and realized I had leftovers! So the few left from last year will have to go to new card-recipients so I'm POSITIVE they don't get the same card two years in a row! <g>
Happy card-making!

I finished all 130 Christmas cards last week. I had to send them through my friends visiting from America (I'm in Croatia) to save postage. It costs around $4 to send one card from here. Yikes! I feel so relieved every time I finish my Christmas cards. Now, I can do more of what I want :-).

I know what I'm doing, and I've ordered my supplies, but they haven't arrived yet. Hope they get here soon; I have about 160 cards to do! At least it's a simple design, but I have to cut an awful lot of little squares . . .
