It's the end of May...has anyone started on their Christmas cards for this year? I'd love to see them. Also, SU used to sell a "puffy pen" that looked like snow when you put it on a card. I believe it is discontinued. Anyone know where I could find another one?
Have a safe and happy Memorial Day Holiday!

Close to my Heart sells a liquid applique pen. I think you can find them also in the craft stores. I haven't used one before, but I've read on here about people buying them at Michaels or Hobby lobby - places like that.
liquid applique works great on X-Mas cards, it can be used for snow, Santa beard, balls at the end of his hat, and it can be used on scarfs and mittens stamp that represent white fur.
I bought mine at Joann's in the fabric department, and also a LSS... they come in a host of colors but White also perfect for X-Mas cards.
Gina K Designs sells it in the color white and also over at Stamp TV she has a great video on how to use it.
It's funny you asked because I bought a stamp for Christmas cards today. I went to the Scrapbook Expo earlier today. I got the Tattered Angels Nature set with the big Owls in it. I plan to make some winter birds. I used my Inkadinkado Winter Bords last Christmas, so I'm gonna change up my owls this year. I also got a Halloween set that I'm in love with. It's made by Basic Grey. So, I'll be all set for the holidays soon. I usually do a few cards a month & get them done before the holiday rush. We'll see what I come up with. JIL
If you use the keyword CCC10 to search the gallery, that will bring up all the cards people have been making for the challenge mentioned above. I'm only making five a month, so I fit a couple in with other challenges and then make up the numbers towards the end of the month. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
So I'm having a baby this year, in late October/Early November. I'm thinking I might give myself a year off and do those photo cards you can order at Costco instead this year. I mean everyone is going to want a picture of the baby most of all right? And those other kids I already have ;).
It's been a really rough pregnancy or I'd have started something already, but I have not. So I might take a year off. I think the world will continue in much the same fashion without me making cards.
Those of you who are on the ball WOOHOO.
