Are you gonna order it and see if they only charge you the $3.69 price??? That would be a great garage sale item or birthday gift or Christmas present!!!!
I'm curious to see if it is actually selling at that price...
Okay, I ordered one - and it only charged my credit card for that amount, plus tax (no shipping!!!)
We will see if it stays that way - they can't charge my credit card more unless they contact me first....
and hey! for a little less than $4 - I can trade in all of my old hodge podge computer tables and actually get my printer/scanner/laptop all on one table - it might actually look good!
I ordered it and they honored it. I got four of them for $15.68 which included tax and free delivery. They are scheduled to be delivered to me tomorrow.
I just ordered it...I'm not sure what I would do with it, but for $3.99 I'm sure I could figure something out!
It'll be interesting to find out if they ship it at that price! They better not charge the 'correct' price without letting us know first or I'm going to overdrawn!
I'd love to try, since my desk got a little banged up in the move to Savannah, but I don't have a business account, either! Anyone want to get one for me and I'll send you the funds via Paypal?

I just called Viking and they said that the price should actually be $400+. If you have ordered one they will stop the order. If somehow it went through then you will be billed for the remaining amount.

can they charge you more after they confirmed a sale? It seems like they should be able to cancel the sale but once they confirm the sale and ship it out then it should be done right? .............. I ordered 1 too and have received a email confirmation that it'll ship soon. If they cancel my order then thats fine but it doesnt seem like they'd be able to come back and charge more with the email confirmation at that price
Just curious how this will work.

Thought you would want to know!
Ah, well. You know what they say about things that sound too good to be true!

I called and cancelled my order too. Had the guilty going, and then the panic of WHAT IF if they sent me a bill for hundreds!!!! lol  i would DIE!!! So, hope you get yours for that price if you ordered it!!! If not, it was a great thought!!!! lol
I have to agree that they cannot charge your credit card if you receive notice that your account was charged x amount of dollars. It'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.
Editing to include a brief FYI. It's still showing online for $3.69. If they know it's wrong- why haven't they fixed it?
I just ordered it too. The list price is $852. That has to be a mistake in the decimal point. Probably should be $369.00 but I think they have to honor it once it goes through. Not sure though.
Do you really think that we are taking advantage of them? I can only speak for myself, but I could really use this item and it will definetly not go to waste or in a garage sale, etc...
I just signed up to be a demo and this item would really help me organize my craft room.
Sorry that you feel we're taking advantage of the company.
everyone who tried to order these, I have seen deals that are too good to be true that have wound up to be true. I got a pair of $30 jeans for $3 once. They weren't marked on sale or anything. We have seen items that are no longer available to the company, so they close out price them. I just assumed Viking HAD to get rid of these. Oh well. Thanks for letting us know that it isn't true.
Just because someone makes a pricing mistake doesn't mean it's okay to take advantage of them!
I agree with Charlotte. Doesn't matter if you use it or sell it. It's still wrong. We're not talking a 10 dollar mistake but a several hudred dollar mistake. Say you put an ad in the paper to sell your car for 500 dollars and it was meant for 5000 would you still honor it. I highly doubt it.
Not only did I order one.... I ordered two.....hehehee. I need a desk unit in my stamp room... and well we just broke my husbands desk last week moving accross the room. I so hope this actually ships. I did notice since I added it to the rest of my order... that the desk showed up on the invoice just like the free tv and desk set did. My other items were listed seperately. Which makes me think this actually might work. I guess I will find out in 8-12 days. What a great find!!!

Yes, Abby, I agree with Charlotte. I hope that those of you that did order this item get messages back telling you they cannot complete the order for that price rather than a HUGE surprise.
Respectfully,

if the company made the error, then they did. but having worked in retail before.....if your sale ad says something you usually have to honor it unless you have statement stating prices may change....
my dh says the website is now showing the *new* price
