Default Changing over to new Wood mount cases

Hello fellow stampers,

For those of you that have changed over to the new Stampin Up wood mount cases, how are you labeling them? With the other cases I photocopied the stickers before applying them to the wood and then put the copy on the front so that I will know which stamps belong to which stamp set if I neglect to put them away.

I love the new cases and the new labels and want the others to look those. Any ideas how to get that uniform look? It will be so much easier to organize with the cases being the same size.

There is a thread in organization (?) that has blank lables that can be printed. It might be mixed in with the thread for the DVD case style lables...I will try to find the thread for you

Thanks. I guess I can print some of those and then stamp the stamps onto them.

Let me find Gails template. I don't have to stamp anything. She did hers in Word, you can insert a picture from the web and it even has a place on the spine for the name and a small picture too! I open that and then go to Google Images and type in the name of the stamp set. Almost always a black and white image comes up that is terrific and I save it to my computer and insert it into the template then print.

This post has Gails. I use this one because it works perfectly and I can insert a picture from the internet. No stamping required. Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Thanks! I will have to try that one! And buy some more cases. I'm looking forward to actually being able to find my stamps easier.

What great ideas! I got my first new stamp in one of those cases and love it. Not sure if I am going to the expense to replace what I already have but will definitely be buying for stamps I get from other companies.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but have a question about these cases.

Does anyone know what size and how many cases are neede for a wood mounted 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set? Love this set and like the wood mount since these sentiment fonts are so small.

TIA

Yes, teeny tiny wishes all fit into one case. I haven't come across any sets yet that wouldn't. My issue is that some sets are too big for the half cases and too small for the large.

sillyfilly, if I had a bazillion sets, I wouldn't be changing over either because of expense, however, with these templates, I am able to combine some sets and even have a picture on the spine to help me remember what's in them!

Thanks for the responses. I will add the large cases to my next order. I have several sets with multiple stamps so will now start the container change. Love that these new containers are more easily stacked.
