Challenges

I see all these cards in the gallery that state they are for certain challenges. I know what you do on a challenge is it just for you to try a card idea or do you have to post the picture etc? Just wondering

Challenges are for you to do at your leisure if you want to participate. You certainly do not have to post a picture to participate in the challenge. They are there to get us to think outside our box, and maybe try something new.

i love challenges...

sketch challenges are my favorite! they are a GREAT starting off point for me. i also really like the color challenges, there are some combos that i would never have thought to try. and the inspiration challenges are great too, i look at all kinds of things differently now after having done some of them. there is inspiration almost everywhere you look.


it is really neat to see what others create with the same challenge tho! lots of inspiration too.

i forgot to add... i upload SOME of my challenge creations but not all.

I really like the sketch and color combo challenges as well. I don't think I'm too good at coming up with ideas on my own so I tended to only case cards but now that I've discovered the challenges I use them to inspire my own creations! What I've done is downloaded the master lists for both challenges and keep them on my computer so when I want to make a card I just go find something I like...like just the other day I did the very first sketch challenge. The sketch challenge list is just a word doc and you just pull it up and there they all are in order...scroll till you find something you like! I like that you can go back and do something even if it's not the current challenge.

And on a upside about uploading...you tend to get more comments and views of your stuff if you post with a challenge keyword...and we all love comments:-)
