In catalog, but not for sale?

I'm bummed that my demo told me that watercolor crayons in the new catalog aren't currently for sale, and SU! doesn't know when they will be available for purchase. I was so looking forward to getting them, and had plans for starting Christmas cards using them.

I guess there is no point to this post other to vent being bummed that they have products in the catalog that they don't have available for purchase.

I don't understand why she said they were not for sale, I'm confused. Did she mean that they were on backorder?

As I understand it you cannot order these now but they should be available soon.

You can't order the pastels yet either "Stampin' Pastels: Due to a development issue from the supplier, the new Stampin' Pastels have been delayed. They are, however, currently in production and will be coming very soon."

I was bummed because they didn't list the 2 retro kits for new colors in the catty and didn't find out until after I placed my order. Could have gotten free paper with the way it was priced. SU listed all the other retro kits in catty, don't know why these weren't listed though. That's life I guess.

I am also upset by the Canadian price for the New Colour Kit (17 crayons). In the catalogue they are $51.95. I called SU and they said it was because you get all new tins for all of your crayons. I just can't believe the price. I wish the crayons were for sale without the tins. I am going to check the website now. I have several orders for the sets of the new colours. I will be upset, too, if they are not available!
