CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 7/5/15
Happy 4th of July to our U.S. stampers and (belated) Happy Canada Day to our friends north of the border. For the rest of you, happy weekend!
While the holiday falling on Saturday has allowed for the luxury of a 3-day weekend, I sure have my days mixed up. Kept thinking Friday was Saturday and today was Sunday. I do, however, have complete confidence that I won't show up at work tomorrow thinking it is Monday.
Hope your week allowed time for some gallery gazing - I'd say it is far cheaper than therapy, but then there IS that whole "enabling" issue so I'm just not so sure. LOL! In any case, I do find it reduces my stress levels and just makes me happy - so many wonderful projects in there.
Here are some that caught my fancy this week:
CAS331 Hello by stampercamper Love how clean and airy Mary's card is - the happy yellow is perfect for her big bloom - great visual impact without seeming to crowd out the white space. CAS perfection!
Prickles Hello by lisa lara I saw Lisa's card a few days ago and it still puts a smile on my face when I see it. So many things to love about it, but I'll pick the layout and the polka dot top.
Card Concept Colors by nancy littrell LOVE Nancy's grey/yellow/white palette. (No wonder I was drawn to some yellow/grey DSP at Michaels today!) This may be my favorite "favoite" this week.
A Day To Remember by TreasureOiler Dawn's great color blocked cart reminds me of a favorite yellow/orange color blocked dress from when I was a girl.
Hey there! by #Francine Francine's colorful card is a hoot! Love the creativity in creating her "wire" perch. And the orange splat couldn't be a more perfect backdrop.
O Canada by Loll Thompson Loll's Canada Day card is just stunning. The color depth and richness is amazing!
Wildflower Pizzazz by FireFly61 ***New-to-me-Stamper*** Always nice to have a reminder that CAS doesn't have to mean white. It's all about the design.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.

Forgive me, please. I had a house full of company last week and didn't get around to posting CAS favorites, so this week's list includes two week's worth. Heres a few of the CAS beauties I found last week:
Thanks, Lisa, for mentioning my Camouflaged Smile in your list of favorites this week. It gave me a chance to play with some new goodies! And thanks to Karen for letting me know.

Thanks Lisa and Maura for favoriting my cards in the CAS favs of the week! Its my first time here! I have to thank stiz2003 for the crazy bird image to color for that one card. They are such fun.
The very first card I saw in today's gallery was stunning. Of course, everyone of this stamper's card are stunning. I had to race to get over here to make sure others have time to take a look at what makes this stamper an amazing contributor to our gallery:
Oh thank you Anne for the wonderful compliment of my card. I am smiling from ear to ear and giggling that you went and bought the stamp after seeing my card. Big hugs dear friend!
Thank you also to the wonderful Karen for notifying us all being on this CAS list. We sure appreciate you!
Thank you so much Debbie for mentioning my grey and yellow Card Concept Challenge card. Not my normal color combo, but loved how it turned out. Thank you Karen for the happy news :-) Hugs, nancy
