Default Cardstock or scrapbook paper to cover composition book ?

Which is better for covering composition books? Also should I use Mod-Podge to apply it, I want to make some for Christmas gifts but this is my first attempt TIA

Cardstock is simply too thick. You need the thinner patterned paper. Modge podge would work just fine. You could also use PVA glue.

I've used both. I have used Mono Multi with good results--no buckling, no coming apart. I'm afraid it's just a matter of personal preference! :-)

I've used both, too. I just use a good glue stick and maybe Sticky Strip at the edges to keep them tight.

If you use card stock for the spine, it's a good idea to distress curl it over the edge of a table before applying it to prevent creasing over that sharp angle of the spine.

Good Luck and have fun!!

I say yes to both.
I use Sticky Strip or Tacky Tape with the card stock for more holding power!
Here is a mini comp. book with all card stock and Sticky Strip.
