That little bug is the cutest darn thing!! I just love the springtime colors on your card. I've been contemplating going digital. Your card just pushes me closer to that edge. And trust me...I'm willing to go there! Seriously...really cute card.

this is a great idea also, now I'm tempted to also look for Bible school images
of a color book to use for scripture challenge pages. I no longer have any color books, but it would be nothing to scan and decrease to print it out smaller. How ecoenomical. there is a technique called "pen and Ink" that
used pattern book images to trace onto paper and this was also ecoonmical.
I think rubber stamping is getting quite expensive, and this would be an
alternative

Love all of your cards...I've only made one card so far made with Dustin's images and I wasn't really happy with it. Still thinking about uploading it or not. I hope you applied for his DT call - all of your cards are fab!

Hi all, here are a few that I made with The Character Cafe digi stamps So far, no problems with copics, watercolouring or stickles... I heat set mine first but I also steer clear of colouring right over the black ink.
I'm not sure how to post pics here, or if this is the right link to my gallery (my first "showing" LOL), but here it goes... sunshyne's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Loving all the cards here... so inspiring!

So now I'm going to apologize for adding The Cafe pic at the bottom of my last post... I was trying to figure out how to add pics of my cards without having to always go upload to the gallery and well, I had that readily hosted at photobucket...
I just figured out how to save a signature for posting and there's no pics
Thanks and sorry once again for being a rule breaker!!! (although it's not technically in my signature... lol)
I still like the old fashioned rubber stamp better...but sometimes these are fun for a change. And I do like that they can be resized and the images flipped.

I love your cards, hope all is well with you.

Hi Carolyn, you're right, it's definitely a less expensive alternative to some of the crafting/stamping items out there, but I must warn you to be careful of scanning colouring books, lots are copyrighted. Even be careful of those sites online that say FREE because they may be free, but also have copyright rules ;) I've seen it too many times where someone gets trouble for doing something so innocent (and unfortunately seen some get away with things that are truly intentional!). Happy crafting!
I'm so glad you're posting these. I'm a digiscrapper and have somehow missed these posts. I always felt like I was "cheating" in some way if I used digi images for cards... so glad to see others are doing this.
I would really like to find some cute people/kid images - I love to color clothes by can't draw myself. I would welcome any suggestions and will post images later. (not trying to hijack the thread- just to play too.)
I've really enjoyed looking at some of the cards using digital images. I just uploaded three cards into my gallery last week that used digital images. These are my very first cards that I made using digital images. I've been reading lots about them and I wante to try making a card with them. Here's the links to the cards that I just uploaded:
Thank you I'm glad that you liked them. I really liked using digital images, it's something that I never tried before. I read about them here on an earlier thread.
