How does everyone organize or should I say catagorize your cards? What are your catagories. I have Christmas, Birthday, Thank You, Sympathy, Wedding, Baby, and Miscellaneous but am wondering what everyone else does?

I also sell my cards at craft shows in a card spinner so the category dividers go behind the cards in the slots! I may move some of my cards between categories depending on sales (like move a celebrate card in the celebrate category to birthday) because some can be used for different events! HTH!

I need to revamp my card storage/organization ... what does everyone use to store their finished cards? I am using a photo box right now, with dividers I made and labelled. What does everyone else use? Can't wait to hear!
I just started stamping and I am so scard of hurting my work so I store them in plastic dividers like you would CD's in a notebook but the sheets are make to fit the cards they are from an office supply place and then they go in a note book by catagory, since I am new I keep a sample of everything I make just a front so I have ideas when I need them. hope that helps. I have seen cards in boxes get torn or things get pulled off.

I store mine in baggies in shoe boxes. Most of the time, I have NOT stamped the inside so cards are more flexible to be used as I need (Obviously if it has birthday candles on it it's a birthday card, or if it has Valentines it's for Valentines day) but probably about half of them are blank on the inside. They are in categories, Blank, Birthday, Get Well, Holidays, New Baby, etc. Each one is named and I keep a copy in my Keep File and I keep track of what I send to who. A little anal, I know -- my problem is I have a copy of EVERY card I've ever sent and they take up a LOT OF ROOM !!!!!! One of these days I'll be able to scan and then I'll be able to send off some of those cards. But then I won't have to make any more and that's the fun !! LOL !
I am very new to this but so far I am keeping the cards I made from the stamp camps in a 5 x 7 index card box. I am putting post it notes on back of each card with measurements for all the items so if I want to reproduce the card I can do it quickly as all the measuring is already done for me. As for when I do cards to give away I am putting them in the QVC box I bought from them. It is very big and has many dividers in it like Girl Birthday/Boy Birthday/etc.

I have mine organized in those 4x6 photo boxes from Generations...I label them according to what's in them...Thinking of you, Birthday, Et Cetera.
By looking at my webshots page and hunting up my scrapbook nook pictures you can see what I've done on a small scale. I like to make a few to have on hand of many different kinds of cards.
It's best to Sympathy cards made in advance, I always find that I'm too emotional to make one fo those when the time arrises.
