Card Comments
Sorry I am fairly new to this site. I just wondered if anyone else gets excited to see comments about their cards. After I upload one I kept coming back to see if anyone left a comment. It really makes my day when I see a comment. I really love it when someone that's on here a lot and has tons of talent likes my cards. I am new and still learning. But sometimes I get discouraged if no comments are made. Sorry if this is long I just wondered if anyone else felt like this thanks Tasha
It is always great to see what people think and I also get really excited !!! That is why I try to make sure I return the excitement by giving my feedback on other samples that I like !!! :P
There've been several times where I wanted to make comments. The first 3 times I tried (on different cards) after I typed in the comment and submitted it, it took 10-15 minutes to 'process it'. It was just so-o-o-o slow that it puts me off making comments. Is it that slow for everybody or maybe I did something wrong?
There are definitely times that are faster posting than others, just keep trying, sometimes you will be surprised at how fast it is. I try to do what others suggested and sort today's additions by least popular and add comments to those who don't have any or only have a few, I know I appreciate comments on my cards!

I am in TOTAL agreement. I've only posted a few cards, but I am an approval junkie, so I totally get excited about comments to my work. Definately makes me want to post more! I just posted my first two weeks ago.
I looked at your gallery. Cute Cards! I printed the Chalkboard flowers to case.

I think that all of us like to see and hear positive comments about ourselves and our creations. Especially when it is something that we are so passionate about - like stamping.
The hardest thing is to see a card, page, or whatever that you have spent so much time on get just a few views and little or no comments posted. I have been discouraged many times over that, but I am finding that I need that approval from people. At times I have felt that I should just stop posting photos, but then I remember that there are SO many of us on this website. A lot of the cards are wonderful, but perhaps not one of the 'WOW' cards that gets lots of hits and comments. I'll probably never have one of those 'WOW' cards, but then that isn't the reason that I stamp. I do it because I enjoy it (or am obsessed with it! ) and because I find it very relaxing.
So don't stop creating or posting those creations! Keep 'em coming!
I am absolutely this way! I love to see the comments. I'm so jealous of the people that get 20+ comments on a card.
I wonder what it means when a card has hundreds of views and no/few comments? I have some of those in my gallery. I wonder if that's better or worse than ones that don't have many views. Like, maybe they thought they liked it, but then took a closer look and realized they really didn't???
I wouldn't feel bad if you don't get a lot of views or comments, sometimes when I sort by least popular there are some really outstanding cards that just didn't make it into full view!

I, too, just uploaded my first images a couple weeks ago and I did the same thing! It is a great feeling when you get comments and a very sad one when you do not! I would try not to take it personally - there are so many images uploaded every day that it is so hard to view them all -
Personally when I look at a card I try to take time to comment as well - Thursday I spent an hour leaving comments in the gallery!
I just took a look at your gallery and I think you have some very nice creations!!
