Default Can You Recommend Any Craft Stores in NYC & Washington DC Please

I'm excited to be vacationing in NYC and Washington DC. Can anyone recommend any good/interesting scrapbooking/papercraft/craft stores?

I will be staying in Manhattan in NYC and near Rock Creek Park in DC. I won't have a car, so it would need to be somewhere I can walk or catch public transport or if a short distance, a taxi. I'm also happy to go a longer distance on a day trip if on the metro or public transport line.

Really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks a million.

I can help a little with NYC.
The Ink Pad: 13th & Seventh Avenue make it very accessible by public transportation.
M&J Trims: 1008 Sixth Avenue (between 36th & 37th)
Tinsel Trading: 1 West 37th Street
Kate's Paperie: Several locations

Not much in DC. I think there is a Paper Source in Georgetown. You can get there via the Foggy Bottom Metro stop and a health walk. Or a relatively short cab ride.

If you do decide to rent a car, Scrapbooks Plus in Chantilly, VA is a nice mainly scrapping focused store. Angela's Happy Stamper in Reston, VA is a great mostly stamp focused store.

Have fun in DC!

When I was there in NYC in the fall, I hit Kate's Paperie & Lee's Art Supply, they are almost next to each other near Central Park. Loved them both!!

If you happen to get a car in DC, there is an Offray ribbon outlet about an hour north. It is supposed to have huge bargains on ribbons.
