A Hobby Demo is someone who signs up to be a demo simply for the discount. She (or he) does not intend to have workshops, classes, etc. They would spend the required amt of $$ to fufilll their quarterly minimum ($300 for SU!).

Thanks for answering my question. Oh how I wish I could spend 300 every 3 months on stamps. I would be a hobby demo in a second.

I'm a hobbyist, but I still try to bring in something. I sell cards that I make. I also have just started getting into workshop/stamp camps. You can charge for the cards people make at a stamp camp. You need to use all SU! supplies but you can make your minimums that way.

I don't find the minimum to be a problem, actually just the opposite. With the benefits of a demo, I find it hard to contain myself and not go overboard - ha ha.
