I love this thread!! I am so NOT alone then!! Just yesterday I sorted through all my "stuff" and ended up with a box full that I have not used or even thought about in months. I do not even "give it a month just to see if I will use it", because if I know it is there I will slowly get into it and drag it back out wether I need to or not!! I take all my things to the local Resale shop, they always put a decent price on things and I get 50% of that, which is more than I have ever gotten on a yard sale, last summer I finally decided to stop having garage sales when some lady offered me $2 for a SU set that cost $30.95 before my discount!!!! I had a price of $15.00 on it and she offers me 2 bucks! I just could not belive it!! I do like the idea of the Stamp and Scrap Sale though, may try implementing something like that next summer. Anyways, the Resale shop works the best for me, I get rid of it, make some money and some room in my VERY LIMITED (the closet in the baby's room!!) space, and did not have to waste all the energy and the whole weekend for a garage sale.

I've purged twice in the last year. Once to donate to a co-worker's Girl Scout troop. The other time was when a group of us from church put together a stamping box for another woman at church who wanted to learn to stamp, but didn't have the funds to really get anything. I went through all of my Non-SU paper stacks and gave her 1 sheet of everything. I mean, they always put duplicates in the stacks. Gave a few stamps, ink, embellishments and adhesive. So now she is bitten by the bug and she and her husband both create cards together.
I am an addicted hoarder. I guess I could purge but I have no one to give the supplies to...my husband just wants to like a match! I have sold some stuff on ebay and Craig's list but that is such a hassle. Better to just hoard and organize better!

That is awesome: great idea's. However, my church isn't into it yet: wait til I get them into this!!
My husband doesn't, however when he wants a card for someone he asks me to make it.
I have quiet a collection of SU & a few other types of stamps, etc.......!!
I have one more order to make with SU (3 sets of stamps & some Velum paper). Though, I'd like to order more then just this.
Our budget it tight these days, as many others are too I'm sure.
Hi, this is my first post and it is so appropriate this is the subject! I homeschool a forth grader, and am mom to a newborn, and tend to see everything I collect as being "educational"! That extra stamp set and paper....future art project! I am reading all your posts thinking..."where are these yard sales and can we make a field trip out of it~!" Running out of room though and have enough projects to teach ten kids for 12 years, so I guess it is time to purge as well. Fortunately there is a blessing shop near by where everything is free and you can donate what you dont need ...so this helps, at least I know it is blessing some one else.......
Subscribing. This thread is so me. I am a hoarder. I am always going through my stuff, and reorganizing. All I need to do is purge, and stop shopping! Well, maybe, I will start with purging!
I'm going thru my things a little bit at a time, My old doctor is opening a day care for seniors, and I voluntered to do crafts with them, so I'm trying to come up with all type of items I.m hoping not to have to buy too much of the basic things, not sure how many yet, I have some time as they are still working on the building.
