I'm compiling a list of all scrapbook stores in the state of Missouri and am looking for some help. If you have a favorite scrapbook store in your Missouri town, please shoot me a PM with the name, address, telephone and web address (if any) so that I can include it on my spreadsheet. After it is complete I'll make sure everyone who wants access, gets it.
Thanks in advance for helping support your local scrapbook stores!
They just moved to a larger location. Charlene (owner) is great and Dona
who owned "the Stamp Patch" in Lee's Summit for years is now teaching Card classes there on Thursdays. Unfortunately the Stamp Patch had to close their doors for good a couple weeks ago...... really hate the economy right now, because these are personal friends of mine and it hurts to see them have to close up shop.

There is a small shop in my town. I don't go there much, because it is geared toward scrapbooking rather than card making, but they do have a nice selection of paper and accessories.

Since you're from St. Louis, do you already have:
The Ink Spot
Archivers at Chesterfield and at the Mills
For Keeps Sake
Rock, Paper, Scissors in St. Charles

If you are interested in adding stores in the metro east area of STL, there are several near me. Archiver's in Fairview Heights as well as The Scrapbook Factory in Fairview Hits and in Breese, IL there is Speedy Scrappers which is owned by a friend of mine. Not a bad drive from STL.
Art Mart is still in business, I hadn't been there for years and drove by earlier this week and saw it, not sure how many stamps they carry now but it was always an interesting place to visit.
What about Red Lead, in STL...is it still in business? I know the Inkspot in Kirkwood is still around. I took a great class there this past winter taught by the one and only Michelle Zindorf which was awesome!
Thanks...since I'm in the St. Louis area, I knew of these....and have spent plenty of $$ in all of them. LOL

I'm interested in ANY and ALL scrapbook stores in Missouri. There is another list being compiled for those stores in Illinois.
Red Lead is still in business and doing very well, as is The Ink Spot!

I actually live in Warrensburg! When I moved here I was disappointed that there wasn't a Michaels or Hobby Lobby in town but the Scrappin Oasis is alright. They always seem to be out of basic cardstock though. Its hard to get black or white there sometimes.
I would imagine it's difficult for smaller stores to keep stock when they are the only place around.

Lynn, I found this thread searching for a list of Scrapbook stores in Missouri. Do you happen to still have the list you compiled? I know this is an older thread, just hoping you might still have it and maybe its up to date. I have a very large amount of Scrapbook Items I am trying to sell as a group and wanted to reach out to stores to see if there is any interest. Thank you so much for any help with a list.
Legacy Creations Scrapbook Store in Concordia, Mo. LS Scrapbook Boutique in Lees Summit, Mo.
@Threecutekids I think The Craft Lab and maybe Scrapbook-N-Memories have annual rummage sales with items customers bring in - you might try contacting them. What part of Missouri are you in?
Were located just North of Kansas City, MO. We have visited a few stores in the area the last few weekends and have not had much success. I guess we are leaning towards a large sale, just not sure when or how to go about getting the word out. We have in the neighborhood of 6000 items, with most of it new in the package.
This store closed years ago. My Mom used to frequent this store and I remember how upset she was when they closed. She has been passed for 5 years, so it has been closed probably 8 years or close to it.
Looking through the posts, I see the names of several stores that are no longer in business. Archivers in KansasCity closed all of the locations several years ago. The owner of the Scrapbook Workshop in Blue Springs died this month, Store is still open but I don't know for how long. I would call that number for sure. Ink, Paper and Rubber in Overland Park, KS is also closed. Another great store, Vintage in KC has closed the brick and mortar store but continues to offer product on line.
It's not in Missouri but only about 50 miles west of KC in Lawrence, KS. It is The Lawrence Craft Company. They have a lot of products and a good variety. There is also a store in Overland Park, KS called Dare 2B Artsy. I haven't been there yet. They do carry their own brand. The Branson store is wonderful. I spent at least 2 hours in there on vacation!
The Stamp Pad in Imperial, MO has a nice mix of scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies. They also offer classes.

I used to love visiting this store when my mom lived in the St Louis area. She was in Barnhart, so it was a short trip up the road. The store in Imperial is so much nicer than the little bitty place they had in Kimswick.
I think most of the other stores in this thread in the STL metro area have closed.
Unfortunately, I do not live in Missouri. But, how wonderful that there are scrapbooks store for learning, too. Joann's and Michael's are not a learning centers. They sell products but have never met a knowledgeable employee.
I live in the Twin Cities. There was a fantastic store called Archiver's. The employees always knew your name and there was a room for anyone needing help or inspiration. Now, I go to this site and a few tubes. Crafty Merakis is fun and a good place for learning. Are there any new stores near Maple Grove, MN?

They hire people to work in the store. They do not look specifically for employees Knowledgeable in specific hobbies. I know because I worked at a Michaels.
