Lefty here too and proud of it! Hoping my 14 month old DS will be left-handed too. Tall, a lefty and play major league baseball (a pitcher), they get paid A LOT, are very rare and he would be able to get mama into a good nursing home! LOL! My BIL is left handed as well.
We are in good company too, there have been many US presidents that were lefted handed too, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton...and others I can't think of right now. I think the current president is too isn't he? I don't member.
As far as showing wheels to a lefty, just think opposite of right-handed.
Yeah! There's lots of us! And yes, many famous (and Brilliant!) people in history are lefties too!!! My 9 month old little girl is definitely favoring her left hand and I already have a lefty 6YO DS.
Both my DD and DH (and he stamps sometimes too) are leftys. At home I say I'm surrounded by left handed Italians, and my DD has started coming back with 'well you're just a right handed Norwiegan'!
Always been in my right mind.....well...LOL The old school tried to change me, but it never happened. I don't turn my paper sideways either which can be a real pain at times.
When you said this, I had to stop and think for a sec...do I stamp right or left??? (Left!!!)
Isn't it interesting how some things we do right-handed? I bat right-handed. I don't know why; maybe it's 'cause no one knew how to teach me lefty, so it was just easier.
I'm a proud lefty. My sister is also, but no one else in our family (either side) is a lefty. And neither of my kids, nor her 3 girls are lefties. Weird, huh? I taught myself to hold a fork & pencil, but my mom had me help my sister with that stuff, since she isn't a lefty.
I'm a lefty, too! I have to be careful when teaching my customers to use the wheels, or Stamp-a-ma-jig. They think these things are pretty awkward until I give them permission to "mirror" what I'm doing.

Lefty here too! Dh and I are both lefty. Our five year old is a lefty. The ONE thing he does righty- throw a ball!! And he LOVES baseball. Here's hoping our little guy throws lefty.
Me too! Me too! And we are very creative because of it! I also cut with scissors right handed, throw a ball right handed (?) and CROCHET right handed, because my mommy (who God Bless her is 81 years old) taught me by putting her arms around me and showing me, and she's a righty. My DH and DD are RH'd but DS is a LEFTY too so I'm not alone. Also my very cool SIL (hi RAESTAMPS) is a LEFTY.
I'm one of those people who writes with their left hand, but basically does everything else with their right hand. My husband is left-handed also, but my one-year-old dd seems to be right-handed. So weird!
Anyway, I love other lefties-- we are all so creative and well-balanced.
My husband and daughter are lefties. I was just reading the latest issue of Card Maker magazine and did you know that August 13 is National Left-Handers Day?

I'm a lefty too! I sometimes boo boo and make my cards opening the wrong way!
I just send those cards to my friends who know sometimes I'm to lefty for my own good.
QUESTION- How is everones typing skills? I've never seemed to get past 40-45 wpm. I always wondered if it was because I'm a lefty.
I'm a lefty!!! I'm the only one in both my family of origin and my nuclear family. It was hard to learn things from my right-handed mother ( I'm still very dangerous with a knife!!!) . It's also been difficult teaching things to my right-handed children. Thank goodness for a right-handed husband!

My husband and I are both lefties and it looks like our second son is gonna be a southpaw. The funniest is when we go out to eat dim sum (DH and I are Chinese) and we use chopsticks with our left hands...people stare and point like we have a third eye or something...as I always say: "If we were all the same, life would be boring."

I'm a LEFTY. In all of my family, there is only one cousin who is also left-handed. All four of my children are right-handed. My paternal grandmother was ambidextrious - she could write equally well with both her left and right hands.
Although I write left-handed, I do most everything else with my right hand (and not just because most things are made for right-handed people). For example, using the steering wheel, dialing a phone, using a calculator, etc.
I'm a lefty but can do most things either handed. I stamp mostly left handed but I can stamp right handed if I need to. I eat with either hand, I can bat or play golf with either hand, the only thing I am truly left handed with is writing. My dad calls me cack-handed, because I am the only member of my family that is left-handed.
I don't know about being in my "right mind" but.....
I am a lefty and so is my DH but both our kids are rightys! My poor son took forever to learn to tie his shoes properly as he kept doing "backwards" or at least how we taught him!
I don't even like to wear jewelry on my right hand (maybe 1 ring sometimes) or wrist and it feels akward to carry a purse on that side either!
