Default Blurry Scans! HELP!!

I seem to always have a blurry scan in the gallery. Is there anybody out there that can give me a quick scan lesson. I am somewhat computer illiterate and can not figure out how to fix this frustrating:confused: problem. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks

I looked at your gallery, and I think I know what the problem is. It happens on cards that have bulky items on them. The card front is not flush with the scanner and it blurs. I am not sure exactly why, but my scanner does it too. Not much help in solving the problem, but now you know why. Sorry I couldn't help more. :(

Thanks for responding. Now that I think about it, my 'flat' cards aren't blurred; it does seem to be just the bulkier ones. Would you happen to know how I could scan the card so it's not so magnified? Thanks for the info SDiegoGal.

On 3d cards I've sometimes had luck by leaving the lid open and using my hand to hold the card level. When I do this I drape a dark cloth over my hand and scanner window to block out the light.
