I'm shaking I'm so pissed off right now. Luckily, after the first comment, I turned on the moderation feature for the comments and the second one didn't even make it to my blog.
May I suggest that we all turn on our comment moderation option if you haven't already? That will make it necessary to approve the comments that appear on your posts, but it will foil the efforts of these people.

Oh, no! That's horrible! Sorry to hear that Jan...why would anyone want to do that??? :confused: They must be jealous of your *fabulousness* (may you *live* forever!) ;)
I have to approve all comments on mine, I did it from the very beginning to avoid that sorta thing...can never be too careful nowadays. (It's so sad!)
I also stopped "advertising" on my site because of some questionable/objectionable ads (not stamping related what-so-ever) that popped up as well.
Yup, I've been tagged twice, but I often feel weird about tagging others.....I don't want people to feel obligated to do it. Know what I mean?
Also, I'm going to post, but I'll put it on my personal blog, which is linked to on my sidebar on my stamping blog, but only because I try to keep paper crafting in one place and personal stuff in my other blog.

I've often thought of turning on the moderation feature for comments on my blog, but so far, I haven't been spammed so I was holding off......now I'm seriously reconsidering it before it happens!

*Why* in the world do people do this? I just don't get it. (((Jan))) You are one of the nicest peoples I know here. You certainly didn't deserve that.
As much as I dislike entering the 'code' to post my comments - I understand the importance.

Entering a code is different than "moderated comments". Entering in a code keeps Internet "bots" from getting your information (from what I understand), but moderated comments means that the blog owner has to approve of a comment before it will be posted for everyone to see.
Some people are so jealous of the creative ability of others that they feel a need to do things like this. Yes, it's very sad. While I do wish I had more creative genes, I would never begrudge others of their abilities.
