Default Blender pen refill

Okay, I found the recipe to refill the blender pens on SCS. I was only able to let the tips soak for a few hours (our house is on the market, and I had to clean up on short notice). That was two days ago. I used the pens that night, didn't use them yesterday and then today when I went to use them they felt really dry again. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to let them soak overnight? Or do I just need knew blender pens?

Default blender pens

HI there...I just found your post from October...can you direct me to the recipe for the blender pen refill?? And did you ever hear from anyone regarding your challenge with it??

I'd like to salvage my old ones, but don't know quite where/how to do it.

Thanks so much!!

I'd like to know about this too. It seems like someone once told me it had to do with the tiny hole in the side of the pen. I don't have my pen near right now, so I don't even know if this hole exists!

Here is the Recipe:

1/3 part Glycerin (usually found in pharmacy)
2/3 part Distilled Water (Must be Distilled!)
1/4 tsp. Rubbing Alcohol

Directions:

1. Carefully remove either end of your pen with pliers, using a light twisting motion.

2. Add a few drops of the liquid to thee Pen. More is not better in this instance, as too much liquid will result in a runny mess.

3. Replace the tip.

4. Lay Pen on its side overnight.
