If you answer yes to any of these, please stop by the BRAK sub-foum to get more information. You do need to be a RAK member to access the RAK forum and the BRAK threads. If you are not a RAK member, click on the "Join a Group" tab on the left and you can get more information there.
In a snapshot--you tell us how many cards you want to send out each month--between 2-6 or more if you'd like, if you want to send out of your country and that is it! Each month the list of birthdays is posted iin the RAK forum. You will get a PM telling you when the list of assignments is posted. Check the list for the SCS names of the RAK individuals you are assigned to send cards, note the date of their birthday, send out your cards and SMILE!
PM me or post if you have any questions. If you want to join us and become a BRAK volunteer, you can post on the BRAK Thread or PM Faith yabbadodo and she will get you all signed up. Faith is the new member mentor.

I just want to the the time to thank everyone for my birthday cards. I haven't had the time to post thank yous. My children gave me a surprise 80th birthday-and I was totally surprised) then camped at my house a few days. I honestly forgot abut birthday cards until I saw them again. I really do like them. I should send some out but I have not done cards for awhile now. Thanks again everyone1

I would like to piggy-back on what Barb said and say that it's such a nice feeling to brighten someone's birthday. Some folks don't receive any cards except the ones the BRAK volunteers send. And some people have challenges on their birthdays. And just about everyone could use some extra birthday cheer. I know many of you must have received some new crafty goodies for the holidays this year, so why not give them a spin in 2020? You don't have to commit to a lot of cards either, and if there are months that you can't participate, just let Barb know. You can come back in when you're ready. Cheers!

Off to PM you this afternoon Barbaralynn. I received some gorgeous cards from members of the forum when I became active here again and would love to pass on the love by sending to some in return. As a card maker, I used to think that other card makers already had so many projects of their own around the house that they wouldn't really want to receive a card from another crafter. Once I, myself, started getting occasional happy mail from online craft friends, and hearing how much they enjoyed receiving them as well, I realized that other card makers are often even more appreciative of a lovely handmade card than those who buy them at a store. We know the time and thought that goes into a handmade card, and the pleasure it brings to the cardmaker as well as to the recipient.
So..kind of a long-winded post here, but yes I would love to join the BRAK group.

Hello! Newbie here ! I am on a couple DT's but I would like to help out and TRY 5 a month . If I find this is is not feasible with my DT project, I will let you know as soon as I can.
