If you sign on now you'll get a new catalog to preview (a few weeks before the start date) and you will be able to sign on for a case of catalogs in the pre-order period. In past years the catalog was back ordered for some time.
Also if you start now you will be able to take advantage of retiring sets. For demos retired sets are a problem, we love them, but can't use them in workshops. For my friends they have a wish list and have been putting off buying some sets. When they find out that that set will no longer be available they buy a bit more, they love the set and want it. I find it is one of my best workshop times, only sell-a-bration may be better.
Also, the sets included in the starter kit (usually) will be around for another year. This will give you a chance to make some samples for your workshops.
Also, when the new catalog comes out as a demo you will get your 20% off all your personal orders, I can come up w/a $150 order from the new idea book without batting an eye. then you will also get a level 1 hostice set. Have a few friends over to stamp how can they resist one or two sets and you are on your way to a level 2 set!! Then encourage them to hostice, you have your first workshops.
So I say start now
