Is there a best time of the year to sign up as a Stampin' Up demonstrator? I know during Sale-a-Bration there's a 20% off promotion on the the starter kit, but I didn't know if there were better perks later in the year. Thanks for your advice!
SAB is likely the best time to sign up. This year there is also a bonus bundle which includes a Simply set kit, the stamp set for it and a punch ($60 value here in Canada). There was that really good offer a few months ago, but we have no idea if they'll make a special on the starter kit like that again.
The only thing we know is that during SAB there's usually a good offer. Other offers have been free stamp sets or just a discount.
Hope that helps and good luck with your decision. It's fun to be a Demo!!!
Just an FYI, in the US it's 15% off plus the $50 bundle during SAB. You can go to your demo's website or to the SU! website and get all the info. But, I agree with jem, usually, SAB is the best time to sign up.
We're not told about promotions too far ahead of time. I signed up during Sale-a-bration because it was a fabulous deal! This year's deal is 15% off the starter kit (traditional or digital plus) and a free product bundle (worth $50). I love that you can customize both the kit and the additional bundle to fit your stamping style.
I signed up during Sale-a-bration five years ago. Sale-a-bration always has a great promotion for signing up, but personally I think you should sign up when you are ready. Dont' delay the fun. There will be other promotions, but we never know when or what they will be. Sale-a-bration is the only consistent sign-up promotion that Stampin' up has.
