I want to purchase a few HM stamps and no, I don't have an HL nearby, so I was wondering where I can purchase them? They seem so expensive to me, but I am looking for a place that could possibly have them on sale. Looking for one with strawberries..thanks!

Bummer...you need to find a friend who lives near a HL to get them for you! Seriously! If they are super sweet they pick them up for 50% and shove up to 10 or so (depending on size) in a flat rate priority envie for $4.90.
Do subscribe to the House Mouse newsletter at the website. They will alert you of sales and shipping discounts. ;)
I know this is an old thread but does anyone know why House Mouse Stamps are so expensive? I have maybe 3 and would love to find more but not at the prices I'm seeing. Thought checking on ebay would be the place to go but some bids start at $30. Saw one lot of 20 stamps for $550. yes I said $550!!! What the heck???? They weren't even new! What on earth makes these so special? In my opinion if you spent $30 for the stamp and then add your supplies and time to make a card you have probably sent someone a card valued at about $45. And to think they may just toss it in the garbage???? Just sayin'.....................
I think most of them are discontinued and/or were put out before Stampabilities or whoever is making them now was able to license some of the images. Like the PSX florals, they're limited in supply. And I think some of the stamps are pretty old-- I remember having a house mouse catalog (of various product) in the late 90s.
123 Stitch has a bunch of House Mouse stamps. I see some for $4.54. They are a good company to order from, and have reasonable shipping. Here's a link:
Addicted to Rubber Stamps also has House Mouse stamps. I just checked the site and they are on sale through today, and they have over 100 different images. They ship via the USPS Priority Mail, so shipping is reasonable.
And someone mentioned PSX stamps, which is out of business. If you like PSX images then check out Northwoods brand stamps, which are also sold through Addicted. I especially love their Easter images, which remind me of the beautifully detailed PSX stamps from the 1990's that I loved so much!

Love Northwoods Stamps!!! I have a local stamp store near my summer home that carries nearly the entire line of Northwoods. In fact the lady who owns the Company is a high school friend of the Owner of the local stamp store. How cool is that?? Pat from Northwoods often teachs her coloring techniques of her Northwoods stamps so you can learn to have your images look just like her display boards! I'm going to check out Addicted to Rubber Stamps tonight. Thanks for info.
The wood-mounted HM stamps that were licensed through Stampa Rosa are the ones that have become collectible now - I have built a respectable collection of them and look specifically for those ones at good prices - but the asking prices on some any more are ridiculous. I think from every company that has carried them (Stampa Rosa, Stampabilities, Joanna Sheen, Stampendous) there are exclusives - the Stampa Rosa stamps that were in the 'stamp of the month' series are the most rare.
Joanna Sheen in the UK carries them, and she does free world wide shipping when you spend 9 or more (about $14 USD right now). If you sign up for her newsletter, she frequently does flash sales, I got a really cute one a couple of months ago for pretty cheap.
You probably get better prices in the US (I'm in Canada) but I like that I hardly have to spend anything at all for free shipping.
it is true that some are just nutsy doodle on ebay. There are a couple I want and I think are discontiued- but always crazy expensive there. For wood I think their own site is your best best and if you sign up they send sale emails pretty often.
Does seem the wood holds or increases value for resale. But if you are just looking for use-lots of cling options out there.
The folks at the official House Mouse site told me Stampendous is committed to releasing 10 new HM stamps a month. :-) They are re-releases of the old wood ones, cling mounted and stamp beautifully.
That is good news Sue! The ones I am looking for are older designs...maybe I will get lucky! I dont care if they are wood or not. Will keep an eye out-thank you!
