Cuttlebug and Scorepal. I get much folds and creases with the Scorepal! And everyone knows how wonderful the Cuttlebug is. Its my best friend when stamping!

Well, I don't consider any of my craft stuff an "investment" but I'd say my ATG gun, Tonic guillitine cutter and my Cuttlebug.

My husband will agree wholeheartedly with this... My best crafting investment has been to become a SU demo! He has mentioned many times it was well worth the money he invested for me to start! I get so much more crafting stuff, because I use the money I earn and the discount. It's also helped me to develop more relationships with people and I really enjoy doing it!

My second best investment has been my laptop! I use it to learn on SCS and to particpate in challenges and for My Digital Studio. Love it! The other computer was too old and wasn't able to keep up to the new stuff out there. I can also take it with me to workshops or while travelling.

Watercolours. Before that I would go crazy trying to make markers give the watercoloured look, or re-inkers or calligraphy ink.

Also, my ATG. Love it!!!

I'm still looking for a good paper trimmer. Hate my Fiskars; the blades suck and it's CROOKED. Either the sticker with the measurement lines is crooked, or the raised plastic edges are crooked, or the groove is crooked. Or maybe they are ALL crooked.

This really warmed my heart. I'm not a demo, but if I were I'd want it to be just like that.

For me it's a tie between my scor-pal and my ATG

before my scor-pal my card folds were stinky. I feel all my cards look a touch more classy now. And I love that. Also I make TONS of envelopes now, which lets me make cards in different sizes and shapes easily. So I love it.

The ATG I got because the adhesive is so inexpensive that I feel ok putting a lot, like all on all 4 sides of every layer all the way stuck down. When I was using the other ones I felt i had to just do the corners and maybe one dot in the middle. I didn't want to waste. Then some of my projects would fall apart or corners would pull up or whatever. Now I just use as much as I want and I don't have to worry so much about the money.

I really love my tonic 12 inch guillitine cutter too.

I could probably craft pretty happily with just those things and the stamps and cardstock.

My SU! Markers are my best investment, actually they are my DD, she saved her lunch money for months to buy them during SAB and this was before I became a demo. I use those markers every day and have only had to replace one in 5 years and that was because someone decided to make polka dots and smooshed the tip so badly I invested a few more dollars and got a replacement.

I have a Boston 2612 cutter that is the best ever. It's a really old cutter that I got at an office supply store. I have tried a lot of different cutters. Every time someone would say they liked their cutter I'd go out and buy it.

When I finally dug the old Boston out of the closet I discovered that a lot of brand new paper is not squared. That is to say it's crooked when we buy it so that is an added challenge.

I have my Boston set up to cut 81/2 x 11 paper in half only. I have the guide set exactly and refuse to move it. I'm a little OCD at times.

Wow.. I would have to say my cuttlebug and embossing folders, my Scor Pal (although I'm really loving my new Martha Stewart score board now). Also, I have LOVED my Cutterpede rotary cutter-- it's so old and beat up, I need to replace it. Nothing gets more use. I did just get a new Fiskars 12" rotary.. the jury is still out as to whether I like that one as much as my Cutterpede.

I love my Cuttlebug!

I need to invest in an MM trimmer when I can find one at M's and there's a coupon. They were sold out last time I looked.

Don't laugh but it's my Cutter Bee scissors. I can't believe I paper crafted without them. I love my Tim Holtz ruler.

I have made some expensive purchases but it's my inexpensive items I can't live without.

I'm going to go with something more basic - GOOD ink! I started stamping with "cheap stuff" from Wal-Mart and JoAnn's and it's awful compared to my SU! stamp pads!

Which fiskars do you have? I have the large 12" rotary trimmer (gray with orange) and it's perfect. DH bought it for me 8 years ago, and I STILL thank him for it regularly!

My best craft investment, though, is a craft knife and Omnigrid quilting rulers. The fiskars works great for big cutting jobs, but for cutting mattes and cropping photos, the omnigrid and knife work the best!

My 6 x 2" measuring/centering ruler. I would be lost without it. I use it every single time.

Second would be my stamp-a-ma-jig, love being able to keep my images straight as my eyes seem to be crooked, LOL

Is this the trimmer you have? I'm undecided between getting more blades (for now ... because we may move within the next year and I'm hoping to get more space and thenI'd want a guillotine type) or something like this. I like that you've had yours so long and are still happy with it!

Wow..this is hard for me. I have two items TIED for first place. My ATG and my Cuttlebug. I use them ALL THE TIME. I also own a BigShot but dont use it as much as the CB. That being said...my CB has been a workhorse for the last 2.5 years and when it eventually bites the dust...oh no....I will just use the BS and not replace the CB.
blessings.

My best investment, as in a lifetime of use, is my collection of SU! inks in classic and craft. No need to buy any other inks, ever. No time wasted in trying to coordinate colors.

Yep, that's it. It's cut thousands of sheets of paper (I make handmade books, too, and that baby has made many a book block for me!). I love that the blades and rubber cutting strips are so readily available, too.

Thanks ... it is going on my wishlist (for the day when I have room to keep a cutter/trimmer out all the time instead of hidden in a drawer).

Default May Favorite - My Cougar

I just got it, but it is now my favorite thing - for making everything for scrapping and cards, books and albums, tags and more . . .

My Black Cat Cougar is amazing in what it cuts out and how I can embellish it all. The support is wonderful. I'm so impressed. I can use all my wonderful inks with it, my ATG gun adhesives, my embossing dies - or it embosses, and so much more. I can cut chipboard and cards out in a heart beat. Free files everywhere, and wonderfully inexpensive ones too. I am not affiliated with the Cougar, but my cat does purrr. I'm in seventh Heaven with this and my husband even likes it - watches it work and is as amazed as I am. Cuts fonts directly from my computer and so much more.

Did I say I love my cat! Sorry, I've had it for only about 1 1/2 weeks, and I don't know what I did without it.

My large Fiskars rotary cutter (I started out with a guillotine cutter but the rotary cutter is much much better). http://www.fiskarscrafts.com/tools/t...or-crafts.aspx

My Cutter Bee scissors (I love cutting images out by hand).

My Jetmax modular storage system to keep me organized - I bought it bit by bit from Michaels.
