For those of you that have My Sweet Petunia’s Glue Press, what is your favourite glue to use, with the fine tip? I want a glue that dries matte, nonsticky, takes a little bit of time to dry, so I have a bit of wiggle room, is strong, and lasts for years. What glues have you tried, and how well do they flow through the fine tip? I love the Nuvo glue so far, but is it strong, and will it last? If you’ve used it for awhile, what do you think?
The Glue Press is a game changer, if you have arthritis. It takes just a very slight amount of pressure to use. Thank you for ALL your suggestions! I have severe arthritis, and the glue press means I can keep crafting. Love, love, love it! ❤️❤️❤️
I've had my Glue Press since about October. I have posted questions about the press 'stopping' about halfway thought a bottle of glue, and no one else has had this problem. I have used Art Glitter Glue, Nuvo and Bearly Art which are my favorites. All work excellent until the bottle is about halfway.. then no matter how much I squeeze the trigger, nothing comes out. I have to refill. I use the fine point tip, and only decided to try for the regular tip a couple of weeks ago - and discovered the second bottle didn't have a tip in it. So, I questioned My Sweet Petunia and they sent me a link to purchase another bottle with the regular point - which I did. Since then, I have seen at least two other crafters say their second bottle also didn't have a tip. You also need to make sure the 'softer' side of the bottle is against the trigger - which is the back of the bottle You can only use PVA style glue, water based, and never a 'solvent based' glue.. glue has to be on the thinner side for this tool to preform correctly. I think it's a great tool, and use it pretty much daily in my card ministry.

The press comes with two tips - one is already on a bottle of glue. The other one is not "missing" a tip, it's just not already attached to the bottle.
I will see if I can find a half empty bottle of glue to try what you're saying - but I think what's happening is the vacuum effect that happens when you use it a lot - you need to tip the bottle up so that the air in the bottle moves to the top and then put it back into the press. I've had that vacuum form too - I talk about it in my video. But I will test!

I love the Nuvo glue it comes with - it was already my fave glue. Plus it's the exact glue the press was designed with.
However, I did put two way glue in the spare bottle for foiling:
