I would do the little stamped baskets made of cardstock and use filler and of course the hershey nuggets with the labels and "Oh Baby" stamp on them. Or you can do the 2468 boxes they're quick and easy. Or you can use it as a game and do special numbers inside the basket, box and/or doorhangers and those numbers can be divided up into the "games" groups or whatever.
A friend recently hosted a baby shower and made fantastic favors with M & Ms in baby food jars. She printed labels for them -- I'm not sure if they were put on the fronts or tops.

At one of the baby showers I hosted I put scented bath salts in empty baby food jars. Then I wrapped those in tulle and ribbon. Needless to say, hubby got tired of eating banana baby food.
For the last one I did, all the guest were all ready moms so I got these cute magnetic pads that you fill out everytime the babysitter comes. It has such info as to where you're at, where you can be reached, when they last ate, etc. I paired it with one of the RSVP pens stamped to match. Everyone loved them! The best part is I got the pads at Michael's in the $1 section.
