Default how about

the standard balloons tied to a bottle (which you could fill w/kisses).

Do you need to make a lot and are you wanting the centerpiece to be made out of paper product?

On the Cricut Chatter someone made a cake using the cake slice boxes...that would be cute.

Hope this helps some.

Baby sock flowers are cute and easy to do. You start rolling them from the toe, then fold the top up over and you have a little flower bud. I used a combination of plain and lacy top nylon socks. I made these for my daughter's baby shower and placed them in a baby planter that I received when I had her.

I've used a clear umbrella before. Opened it up, turned it upside down and filled with confetti, filling, etc. You can tie a balloon to the handle or put a big flower *from walmart*. Only works best if the table you are working with is big. If not, how about a big table cloth, white, over a few random boxes on the table. Make it in tiers, so to speak. Another option is to get a secondary punch bowl and fill with "floating" fresh flowers and rubber duckies. I've also used diapers, with the letters cut and pasted on the butt, strung on a ribbon or string, then attached to the wall. The diapers just tend to hang there if you put them on upside down. *writing on them doesn't work too well with a sharpie, they bleed* You can also use as a table topper in the middle of the room, in plain view, a tray filled with random baby items. Have this set up before your first guest arrives and near the end of the shower, when you are playing games, remove the tray and use it as a game. See how many people actually paid attention to what was in front of them the whole time.. LOL. Good for a game and decor. Can't think of anything else right now, but I will let you know if something more comes to mind.

I wish I had taken a picture, hopefully I can describe the fabulous centerpiece someone at work made for a shower we had for a co-worker.

She made a three tiered cake out of disp diapers. and used socks, bibs, smaller baby toys to decorate. It was the cutest thing!

How about one of those target mailboxes with Special delivery on the flag? You could fill it with just about any small items too. You could use the pink ones for a girl or white for a boy or the not sures. You could really make a cute arrangement! Now I think I'll make them for you!

I mostly copied this from an ebay auction for my oldest DD's baby shower... Her theme was Classic Pooh... I googled "diaper cake" for the directions. It only took about 45 minutes to put together. I got all the materials at Target.

I don't have a pic, but for my SILs baby shower I made a centerpiece using a jointed teddy bear (craft store) momma with a straw hat and lace dress (pinned on gathered lace and ribbon roses) and a baby teddy in a mini wicker bassinet. I also rolled up plastic cutlery in napkins, tied with ribbon and placed them in another wicker bassinet. It was a teddybear tea party.
