Baby Paint Can?

I am wanting to make baby paint can for one of my son's teacher. Today was supposed to be her last day so I had figured I'd do it today only to find out she delievered another boy Wednesday morning at 2 am...

So anyway so I better scramble and get this completed! I found 1 list that was used for the paint can which contained
Onesis, rec blanket, socks, bibs, rubber ducky, Rattle, powder, lotion, baby bath, washlcloth, Photo album, teddy bear, shampoo, and baby oil.

Now my though is there is NO way this can all fit in a GALLON paint can!!
So I'm looking for simple thing, but something she can use. She is CM consultant herself.

When I did a baby paint can (well actually it was a baby formula can), I put in things like, aspirator, nail clippers, small powder, lotion, shampoo, 2 bibs, a hat, bags that you clip onto a diaper bag that you can put the dirty diaper into (it is on a roll, tiny) and a Target gift card. She is a first time mom (she is due in May) and I just had a little girl in May, so I tried to think of the things that people wouldn't get. At showers, there are always tons of clothes and toys, but I wanted to get her the things that she will need, but people don't usually buy.

I usually include it with a gift or you could add a gift card so she could go and get what she really needs. HTH
