Okay, curiosity killed the cat...what are you going to do with these empty pouches? I'm having trouble getting my mind around this. I'll send some to you but I must admit, my teenagers prefer the Dew to juice pouches. Go Figure!

I am curious where you got the idea for this. I live in Texas and my girlfriend came up with this idea. Did you possibly see it at the Brazoria County Fair?

Also, I would love to see a pic of yours and know where you got the boas. She has been killing herself trying to find more and would love you for telling.

Here are some links with pics and directions on how to make them:
(this is a pdf file)
http://www.fbcislands.com/mops/JUICE_POUCH_PURSES.pdf

There are lots with pics on ebay. They have been a round a while, you can buy directions.

Do a google search for Juice purse* and you will get lots of links-some good, some not. The above were the only free files I could come up with.

My sister in Iowa showed me this last summer. I heard this orginated in Okinawa(sp) some 5 yrs ago. Down in this part we'd never seen them. Now we see them all the time.
I do sell them, but I'm asking for donations here.

Thanks--Kim

I just bought several boxes of these about an hour ago. My kids drink them like crazy. Not sure how I would rinse them but do you want them rinsed? I will try to get some in the mail by next week.

I've been making bags like that for years! They have been around forever...I actually had one in High School...and that was way over 10 years ago. Just one of those fun things that comes and goes...

These boas aren't like the kind you normally see, they are skinny and have fur instead of feathers. The ones my friend has been buying are like 1$ a piece for a good length.

Since someone mentioned having one of these purses "10 years ago when she was in high school".... I went down memory lane.... does anyone remember the purses from the late 70's/early 80's that we used to make with fabric placemats and big wooden rings??? I think I had about 10 at once and was always switching them out!

Now don't laugh, some of you probably remember the 70's...
My Mom or maybe it was Dad had this red crochet or macrame (sp) floppy hat that had Budweiser can panels sewn into it. As a small child I would steal it and run around the house...Can you say tacky?

Alsom when I met my husband the bachelor...he had an airplane hanging from his bedroom ceiling that was made from Miller Lite cans. Where do these ideas come from? (I wonder how long it took me to throw that away...te-he )

The Bud Can Hat! Ah...I love it! My dad totally had one of those! What a hoot!

Speaking of things that are in again...I almost died the other day at the Mall...A&F and Hollister had legwarmers...yes, LEGWARMERS! Ah...yikes! My girlfriend asked if they were cool again, and I replied, "My rule is, if you wore it the first time you shouldn't try again! I'm just praying the "mall hair" doesn't come back with it!

How funny - I saw legwarmers at walmart around Halloween ~ first thought was - what in the world were they thinking!!! Didn't like them then still do not like them now - but maybe my dd will since it will be 45 here next week and she refuses to wear pants to school - loves her skorts...

About the legwarmers - I wear them on my feet when I get into bed in the winter - much better than socks!

Love the pouch bags - don't have any little ones at home anymore, so I don't get the juice pouches. I think it's a great idea, especially for a teacher's gift item!

My 10 yo niece was laughing hysterically when I exlained to her about legwarmers. She was playing a CD for me ( can't remember who but it was a song about 1985?) Anyway legwarmers were mentioned and I commented on how cool I was because I had sooo many different legwarmers. She found it very amusing!

I also sell these cute bags but I get mine from the Phillipines. There is a group of ladies who gather the juice pouches from the elementry schools. The kids drink them with their lunch. It is fun to see all the different fruits they have. I can't believe how many people stop me and ask about my fun fruity juicy bag.

I bought my purses from this designer, they are made in the phillipines by moms there and are really cool! Mine came in brands that we don't have here, making it more interesting.
