The more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past,
We cannot change the fact that people act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only think we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you
We are in charge of our attitudes.

My boss passed this out today to the Rotarians. Thought it was good.

Thank you for posting this! I'm going to print it out and put it where I'll see it every day.

Great quote! It's actually by Charles Swindoll (author and pastor) and is from his book Strengthening Your Grip, originally published in the 80's. It has been used widely by many different companies like Neiman Marcus and others, and is sometimes quoted as "anonymous" (as it has also been paraphrased, etc.) although it is directly from him. It's one of my favorites!

Reason: um... apparently I can't spell today.
I've printed this out and plan to share it with my DH and DDs tonight...and then post it by the door so we all see it every day before we head out to face the day!
