Default Anything good at Michael's this week?

I'll be traveling past a Michael's store today and was wondering if there were any good buys there this week. Do they still have the dollar stamps? Does anyone know if they stock the refill blades for the Fiskars Euro trimmer? I'm having trouble finding these in Southern IN. TIA

I think the dollar stamps are a regular item now. I just popped in for a few minutes yesterday and didn't have much time to look around. I did buy some pretty Laura Ashley 12 x 12" scrapbooking papers at 4 for a dollar. I use them as backgrounds for cards.

They have the Fiskars triple track paper trimmers like SU sells for $12 (regularly $24.99). I needed a few more one for workshops, so I got them at Michaels where I basically got 2 for the price of 1. Saved the extra money for SU stamps.

My Michael's had 3 huge baskets with marked down stamps - like big, $6 stamps were half price, etc...Don't know why, but they had tons of stamps.

I popped into my local Michael's yesterday and got a couple of packs of the Making Memories Brads that are on sale. 100 for $2.00. Also got the Making Memories Stapler with color staples which I am thinking of giving to my upline and best friend for all the help she has given me for signing under her. And got a package of the Mini Folders to try. My store still has tons of the $1.00 stamps and the Clearence rack of stamps for $3.00. Good deals and don't forget to use the 40% off coupon from last Sunday...it expires today!

I was in Michaels earlier this week and I got a 8 1/2 x 11 hinge strap scrapbook for $10, they're usually $22. They had tons of stamps on clearance (does this mean they're finally going to get new ones? One can only hope) I also noticed they're starting to get some new ribbon in, some fall colors and they also had a box with 6 different designs of ribbon that were all color coordinated. I wanted to get some so bad, but I have tons of ribbon already and just don't need any more.

I got the $12 paper cutter too!!! AWESOME deal and AWESOME cutter! I'm in love with it already! If you just want the refills they have tons of those too--I had problems finding a scoring refill for my old one at other crafts stores. They've got some deals on ribbons too I think!

My Michaels also has tons of their stamps discounted from $3.00 - $5.00 which is over 50% off. They were in the middle aisles in bins instead of by the stamps. Also the $1.00 stamps are near the cash registers and not by the other stamps. Look for a clearance aisle, this is where I find good deals like Chatterbox's Journaling Genie for $7.00 instead of $21.00. I was so excited to find that deal this week. I also found a bunch of really cute ribbon there for $1.00 and it had been $3.99. If you like certain items, don't pass the aisle just because it doesn't have a big sign sticking out saying all rubber stamps 40% or whatever because each aisle usually has a few things that have red stickers over the orginal price stating they are on clearance and if you didn't look closely at each aisle, you would miss it. I have found great deals by doing this in the past. Have a blast looking around!
