Anyone do St Patrick's Day cards? I guess it's a bit late for this, but at the rate I am running I figure perhaps only if I do one for my DH this year....
I found some 4 leaf clover shaped cards (8/$1) at Joann's and used those with the $1 stamps...bling makes anything look good so I added that. Inside was an Irish blessing--which my cousin used at the wake this past weekend for my uncle!
I found one small stamp for St. Patty's Day and one set of shamrock brads, both on clearance, and tried to put together a few cards. I don't have any other things related to this holiday; I was shocked!
NO pics but, I used cream and green papers in layers, stamped a shamrock all over the top layer and added a shamrock made from soda can(green ones). Used a Marvy heart shaped punch, lined up three of them, punched a pinhole and then added a gold brad to hold them...spread them into a shamrock shape, used dimensionals and added them to the front of the card....no ribbon, no anything blingy,,,,used a small Happy St Patty's day sentiment on the front, and inside wrote a message to each grand as that is who hte cards were for. At times I make a bunch but this year settled for a smaller number.

Also wanted to point out that Claire/Waltzingmouse Stamps has some free digis on her blog. Also there's a WMS blog hop tomorrow with a St Patty's theme. Perfect to get some ideas (or join in if you have time!)
I used Whimsie Doodles St. Pats day digi stamps. Did three cards so far...one I haven't posted yet because I am posting it on my blog tomorrow to celebrate St. Patty's Day and My Birthday!
Wow, thanks for all the wonderful ideas y'all. I apprecaite everyone showing me their cards. I got a couple made. One will post on the blog tomorrow, one posted on the Paper Temptress site today (for a friend). One will get given the DH tonight. I loved seeing everyone's beautiful cards. You guys are so amazing and so inspiring. I love this group!!
