I'm still waiting for the elf to show up and address mine. Did I mention about half of these are going to England?! Thank goodness people there generally understand that Christmas is from Christmas to Epiphany! And still got to make one for our Niece (again to go to England) - can't make this up. Probably need to sit over at my desk and do that now.
If I get mine out before Jan 1st, it's an accomplishment. Last year, I didn't mail any. Thankfully, I have about 30 cards that I made last year to add to this year's stash, because I WILL send cards this year.
I grew up with a liturgical tradition, meaning Christmas doesn't start until Dec 25th (before that is Advent). My family does 12th Day of Christmas gatherings; I did the same with my staff when i was working full time.
So...I tack on 12 days to the traditional deadline. Feeds right into my procrastinator style

If I am late next year . I'll just say "Well the Christmas holiday is really from Christmas to Epiphany " ( with a nonchalant look on my face)
Ya Gotta love English logic

I sent out Epiphany cards one year! They were not handmade, but they were beautiful cards from the Christian book store with an Epiphany theme. Great idea, as you can mail them out after the hustle and bustle of the 25th of December!
Last year, I was the winner of the entire holiday collection from wplus9 design stamps. It was an AWESOME release, too! I am playing with these stamps this week. I actually made two cards yesterday, and I LOVE how they turned out! These stamps work great for CAS one-layer cards, like the ones I am making this year.
I wish I could stay home and make more cards today, but I have to work...at the mall...for the holiday season. Ho ho ho!

Substantiated by the Christian Church calendar - right now is Advent. Christmas to Epiphany is Christmas. Those English really embrace tradition.
Plus I loved that work do's were before Christmas and family and friends do's were during Christmas (Christmas day to Epiphany) and yeah it starts to drop off after New Years but I definitely miss it.
After finding out I had stamped the inside sentiment on the wrong side. I had to tske them apart and remake them. I am finally finished and they are addressed and ready to mail.

Made another one today! I find that when I procrastinate, I often will have the most creative thought and the most productivity at just the right time. That's just how I operate. I am actually having fun making them this week, and it really doesn't feel like a chore, which is a good thing!
