I just signed up as a demonstrator! I am excited, happy, and nervous! Can I make the $300 minimums? I am not a good trying to sell person but I love to teach people things and especially crafts. So how do you tie in the selling part with the teaching part? I am looking forward to having monthly classes at my house. Does that work well for selling? Do people buy at those type of things? I feel more comfortable having workshops at my house. Is that to my disadvantage? I have lots of questions....and lots of ideas. How many do pen clubs or stamp pad clubs? Do you have problems with people dropping out and you having to cover them?
Ok...I will quit for now with my questions but I am so excited to be part of the stampin up family!
When can I join the demonstrator forum? I signed the paperwork today and my upline was overnighting the paperwork today.
Blessings,
Jennifer
I'm not a saleperson either! But I don't have any trouble at all keeping up with the minimums. Just be excited about the product and that excitement will rub off! I know you'll do well, because your post got me all excited!
Isn't this fun!

So very blessed and so very thankful.
God is good.
If I can do it anyone can! Cause I am so not a salesperson- everything sells itself! I personally hold a "class" with make and takes each month I only charge $10 I have about 13 people and that's $130 to buy supplies with that counts towards the minimum, not counting what my friends and family and I buy!! Plus you have a whole quarter to not have to make that minimum.... so take a breath and have fun you'll love your new position!
I had the same concern when I signed up about a month ago. So far I have exceeded the $300 mark and it was not that hard. I so am not a salesperson and thought that I would really struggle. If you can show people how much fun it is and show how much you truly love it you can get them hooked as well. Good Luck and definately dont forget the demos only forum!

I was really nervous about meeting the minimum when I signed up especially because I'd recently failed at another business. Just couldn't keep up w/ the minimum, but I haven't had any problems yet! and it's been a year and a half. I'm still lovin' it!

I just signed up this afternoon, and I too am extremely nervous. I am sure that once everything gets here I will get excited. I have only been living in our town for a year, and I am not sure how to get enough people to purchase, but I will find a way. Best of luck to you, you will love it, as will I.

I have been reeeally sitting on the fence and biting my fingers off as to whether I want to be a demonstrator as well. It seems like a great thing to get into but I too am so nervous about whether or not it will pan out. Eeek!
It's not like the stampin up police are going to come and get you if you don't make the minimum. And you get allot of awesome stampin stuff valued at about $300 I think. Anyway just a thought....
Blessings,
Jennifer
