LOL! Don't know :-) You know as much as we know as in wait and see lol! Honestly, that is all the info we have...that they are trying something new and will tell us about it at a later date. I'm sure someone will post an update as soon as we can!
Thanks, Mindy! I am not a good waiter when it comes to new stuff! Lol

Pretty good actually. Really good today but he's not in a hurry. Had an appointment today and really nothing is going on signaling his arrival. I have another appointment in two days on his due date and expect more of the same :-) If he's not here a week after that I'll be induced. So, I may get to to pre-order on the 1st lol! Too bad it would probably get here about the time he did, lol!!!!!

Thanks for thinking of us :-)
I was nine days overdue with both boys. Boys are stubborn like that! LOL
I found a few things to love in the mini, but was REALLY disappointed in the meager Halloween offerings... So glad I got "Best Fiends" back in the day! I just wish I'd bought "House of Haunts", as I have to keep dropping out of the ebay auctions - too rich for my blood...
Sue, are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber? There's a Halloween kit coming up with a cute little photopolymer Halloween stamp set. You can sign up by August 10th using HALFOFF2 as your code to get 2 months at half price (and can always cancel once you get your Halloween fix!).

Any sneak peeks? I love Halloween stamps!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I doubt that I'll join in. Two reasons: I'm pretty much against "kits" for my own personal use, and you don't know what you're getting until it shows up. I'm really, really picky about my Halloween stamps...
There is a set that has houses in it with matching framelits- that the houses can be decorated for Halloween with a web and a ghost...really cute!!! Plus for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Fall.....its a wonderful set!!! Obviously not the same as the set from a couple of years ago, but it is really cute!!!!
There are some things I like, including some DSP, but they helped me keep my list in check by offering so many stamps only as photopolymer. I don't do polymer because I've never had very much luck with good, clean images.

Until recently I shared your experience regarding polymer stamps. However, I had awesome results (crisp, clean on first inking with dye ink) using an SU photopolymer from a Paper Pumpkin kit.
I was so impressed I started a thread seeking suggestions for other companies with which SCSers had good experiences.
As soon as it turned 12:01 AM Mountain time which is 2:01 AM my east coast time, I placed my Demo pre-order for the Holiday Mini...I even put the order on 3 day delivery.
There are a lot of bundle packages in this catalog, I ordered all of them . There is another flip card called "Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies" set it has 8 additional dies along with the actual card die itself.
I absolutely love Halloween and I make treat bags for the kids. There is a polymer stamp set called, "Tee Hee Hee" that I had to have for cards and the sets called, "Freaky Friends" & "Ghoulish Greetings" will make awesome tags for the treat bags.
At least ALL of the Blendabilities colors can be ordered by everyone today , but that is not much of a happiness to any customer who wants to order from the Holiday catalog.

Like you, I abhorred photopolymer stamps. I actuallWhen SU announced they were making a line of those things, I actually sent them a letter telling them this was a bad business decision as polymer stamps are notorious for making muddy images.
I had tried everything to make those other companies polymer stamp images crisp, or complete. From using an eraser over them to stamping them on a firm surface. Nothing worked. I finally tossed all 20 sets I had into a box and donated them to a local daycare center and signed up as a demo for SU.
But being a demo I had to buy one of these sets, so I bought the Flower Patch Bundle. It took me a while to figure the layering out. BUT the images from the photopolymer was quick shocking! They were crisp, clear and easily placed.
I was astounded! I truly was and I am not just saying this because I am a Demo.
I told my upline I would never endorse a Stampin Up product unless I liked it myself (I am not a kool-aid drinker ).
If you would try just one of their photopolymer sets I think you would find, like I did, that these stamps are very different from other companies polymer stamps.
Considering the price of other companies polymer stamps you would not be damaging your bank account too much by taking the chance on a set of Stampin Up's stamps.
I hope this helps.

I was skeptical of the PP stamps as well but have grown to quite like them. I will always prefer red rubber but some applications are much better with PP such as two step stamping WHICH is why so many of the holiday mini sets are PP :-)
I'm really happy they have made most of the two step sets clear so you don't need to get out the SAMJ. You can see right where everything goes and as a lazy stamper who pretty much refuses to get the SAMJ out I love that, lol!
Ours are very high quality compared to others I've seen and part of the key is our new firm foam pads. They don't work well with the old linen pads which SU has mentioned. They also take a very light touch when inking and I find they require a little more pressure when stamping.
I know everyone won't love them but I have really come around to them and I think they are fantastic option for making scenes and alphabets and the like. I hope that you find you like them if you decide to try them!
I think the Halloween offerings are meager too. I want a spiderweb background stamp and was hoping for one from them.
There is a photopolymer set (in the online store, not the catalog) called Bite Me that has a spiderweb. You may be interested in that if you are not opposed to photopolymer. Bite Me Photopolymer Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!

I just tallied up what I want and it's around $200.00! That's a lot for me.
Typically I see things I want, but they fade from my radar. I've given these sets and accessories a chance to look less desirable and I've only wanted them more!
So I think I see a big order in my future!

I have never had a problem getting a good image with any company 's photopolymer stamps, so long as I use a firm foam pad underneath my paper. I just haven't, as yet, seen any images in PP from SU that I like.
I'm iffy on the offerings of this catalogue. Part of that is due to the fact I generally don't make stuff for Halloween, part is I have a lot of Christmas already. In general I am getting more picky over time because I have so much stuff. For example, I would have needed to have that bird set a while ago, but I know it's similar to two others I have, so I'll skip it.

Any SU demos know if the sheets the PP stamps come on are safe to store them on. I just got a big shock on the organization forum. It's a big thread on how a number of companies don't have sheets that are safe to store your PP stamps on.
Out of ease and cost and ignorance I just store them in the pkg they come in. I Only have five PP sets. SU, Hero Arts, PTI, and Lawn Fawn. I guess Hero Arts responded to an inquiry and the sheet is not archival safe. Anyone know about SU???

What is this too much stuff you speak of?
I forgot to add that I really, really love the Beauty of the Season set and the Ornamental pine set - and the card sample using the Ornamental Pine set with it stamped in white looks WOW! Anyone want to share what is top of their Wish List as far as stamp sets goes?
I LOVE Nature's Peace. I would get it if I really did not need any more Christmas stamps. I also would purchase Wondrous Wreath if I didn't already own two other wreath sets from other companies. Top on my wishlist is the new Thinlit Snowflake flip dies! LOVE that one!
Currently there are so many items that are on Backorder due to high demands of us Demo's.
Hopefully they get them in...In time for everyone else to buy.

Seriously? I know that last year they ran out of a set that I wanted but that was the first time I had seen that happen. That actually kind of irks me for some reason...if you can't supply your demos with what they need, how do the customers know that it will be available for them? Sorry...not trying to be horrible, it just hit me the wrong way when I read that.
