Any ideas for birthday sentiment stamps for inside cards?
The outside of the cards are never a problem, but I am so tired of stamping Happy Birthday inside of the card. Anyone know of any stamps that have other birthday greetings such as a phrase or sentiment?
How about the Birthday Centers set? As the name suggests, they're intended for the center of your cards although they're equally useful for the outsides too!
I was never satisfied with the stamped sentiments. Pretty much the same things all the time. You aren't stuck with stamps if you print the sentiments on the computer on cardstock. I've done this for a long time and can say anything I want, even personalize it. You can use different (or matching) fonts as from the front of the card, and you can color the font or change the size any way you want. If you aren't comfortable with sizing it to fit the card, then leave lots of space around the sentiment and cut the cardstock to size and adhere it to the inside. I just print it first on a piece of paper to see if it's the correct size, etc., and make changes if I need to. There are even lists on SCS and other websites with sentiments you can use.

I already have that lovely set and used it last year (I make the birthday cards for the 30 people in our department) and wanted something new for this year.

Good idea about printing the insides, but everyone really enjoys the fact that I have hand made the cards -- but -- I can certainly give that whirl.
Thanks for the replies -- hoping for other stamp suggestions?
I too print my inside sentiments on the computer on plain paper and then cut and attach them to the card with a small amount of glue or tape runner. I made a template for both landscape and portrait cards and then print them out 4 to a page. I have a file for all the different holidays, birthdays, sympathy etc.... so its easy to just pull out the sentiment I want and add it to my card. An added benefit is that the inside can be pulled out and the card could be reused by the reciepient to send to some one else by just adding a new sentiment. "re-cycle"
I bought several sets off Ebay years ago that were just for the inside of b-day cards.....lots of them are funny- just an overall good assortment for both women and men. I do the computer generated thing sometimes as well as it's so easy. I have saved lots of sentiments from the inside of Hallmark cards that people have sent me to copy on the comuter.
Here's a set from Papertrey: http://www.papertreyink.com/stamps_birthdaybasics.html
