I subscribe to updates from www.bfadds.net and www.blackfridayads.com. Both are pretty much the same overall with the postings. The only craft company currently posting an add is from Craft Warehouse (I believe the stores are in the northwest part of the country).
I'm hoping for a really great deal on the cricut expression because I really want to upgrade from my baby bug!
Joann is having some MAJOR doorbusters.
Friday morning at 6 AM, the Cricut Personal cutter will be on sale for $75.
Then on Saturday, all Cricut cartridges will be sold for $28.88 (or nearabouts)
There were other things too but the Cricut stuff was all I let soak through, lol!

That's such a fantastic price on cricut carts but I won't be getting any from Joanns anymore :( They have a new policy since end of AUG that if the cartridge package is opened you can NOT return it even if its defective. I even spoke to the District Manager about returning a broken cartridge and he said this policy is NON NEGOTIABLE because of the release of the gypsy, so if you buy it and its broke you're stuck with it till you contact Cricut and see if you can exchange it through them.
Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread I'm looking forward to the sales too
I used to always go shopping on Black Friday starting at 5am.
By 8am the lines are so long and so many people. You cannot use a shooping cart as you will never get through Walmart.
I have decided that I will go on the weekend and now I skip Black Friday all together.
Its just not worth it to me anymore.
Last year I did go to Shopko when they opened for some video games but it was not that busy at 5am.

The link for www.bfadds.net doesn't seem to work. Is that where the Craft Warehouse ad is? Yes, they are a Northwest store. I just won a $250 gift certificate from them that is burning a hole in my pocket. :-D
Location: In Christine-land, where the sky is purple and it's always sunny. Season tickets just $99 each...

I was at AC Moore last year, and the cricut was a great price, but I was on line at 5 a.m. for the Thomas Train deal (I think it was $39.99 doorbuster/ 79.99 rest of day/ 169.99 regular). Sadly enough, that's what I'll be looking for again this year. My son is obsessed with those darn trains.
Just 5 more days until the circulars come out. And counting...

The only news I have is regarding Michael's Thanksgiving day sale, 30% off the entire store. I was hoping for a repeat of last year's Cricut cartridge sale. I 'need; the Sports Mania cartridge.

Everybody be careful out there on friday! I heard on CNN that a lot of the "hot" deals are very limited quantities with no rain check. Ie - the deal to get you in the door - there's 3 items and after that it's gone. They're saying this will be a big issue this year with the recession - so be careful - watch out for everyone else and keep yourself safe from those with shopper's rage!
You'll notice on most of the flyers it says limited quantities and no rain checks. Good luck with your shopping!
