I have just started making cards and found out that I don't really like making envelopes. What are the best card sizes for mailing without extra postage and where do I find the envolopes for them? TIA
Kay
4 1/4 X 5 1/2 is the standard size of a card, and you would need either a A-2 envelope (square flap) - or a 5 1/2 baronial (pointed flap) I get my envelopes at http://papermart.com/templates/71-0-10.htm item number 715230 - you can get a box of 250 for $8.00

Thanks for the web site, I also saw the 5x7 if I wanted to make a larger card. Do you use your paper or cardstock cut in half and just one fold for the 4x5's or do you make a 4 fold card? I can see now that any other than the 2 card sizes would make you waste paper. I scrapbook but cards are really new to me. I know I will enjoy this site.
