I don't have a photo of mine in the gallery, but I just spray painted mine. I bought special spray paint for plastic, it's supposed to stick better - and I haven't had any problems with the paint coming off.
They are on the IKEA bygel rails in the back. One is facing so you can see I've decorated it after spraypainting. I used Krylon Fusion for plastic. They didn't have a pretty light pink, or light purple like I wanted so I settled for black. Definitely better than the awful red! One has scrapbook adhesive in it, the other has the cheaper 924 adhesive.
One helpful tip when spray painting I wish I had followed -- do it in lots of VERY light layers. I have a couple of drip marks where I tried to go heavier because it wasn't coating fast enough!
Got my new ATG and got it altered all in one day! Loaded it up and it works like a charm! I'm so excited to attend my crop this weekend for National Scrapbooking Day and show off my new friend!
These are darling... I altered mine with duct tape when I dopeed it and the cover broke off... HEE HEE HEE... trust me... not photo worthy! I may have to bling mine out a little bit to hide the boo boo!
I have a video on my blog (link is in my Signature). I'd post a direct link to the video here, but the last time I did that, it was moved to the Techniques forum. Just click on 2010 and then June in the right column. The video is in 3 parts.
