Question Which alphabet stamp set should I buy?

I have the brushstroke alphabet and I have used it maybe 2 or 3 times in the 3 months I have had it.

Which alphabet set do y'all suggest or which one do you use the most, if you have several?

If you could post a link to something using the alphabet set that would be cool, too!

I am thinking about getting one at a workshop tomorrow.

Thanks!!

It really depends on what size you need. I have several (not sure why) and brushstroke is my least favorite - I just can't make it look right. I think it's the first one I got too.

I find myself reaching for whimsical lower fairly often.

I use my tidy alphabet and the letterpress alphabet most often. (I have a few old non-SU alphabets that I don't use very often.) What do you use your alphas (or wish you had them for) the most? I like the letterpress, especially for doing monograms or scrapbook pages and I use the tidy for short words on cards/personalizing small notepads/etc.

I use whimsical lower all the time. I've found it very versatile. I finally got Upper and Numbers, too. Love it!

Funny, I was looking at the different galleries and found that Letterpress is one that I like.

I don't scrapbook so it will be for cards and other projects. I like the look of the monogram but no so big.
I am going to go and check out whimsical now!

Thanks!!

I suggest the Letterpress set. This is my favorite for almost everything from cards to scrapbook pages. It's nice to own several, and I do, but for the last 3 months I have only used my Letterpress set. Good Luck!

You gals have really helped me make up my mind. I just put Letterpress on my list of what to get tomorrow! Maybe I want whimsical lower, too. I just saw a card in the gallery that had them both on it and it was so cute!

Don't forget about the upcoming Scrapbook special that starts next week! I don't know how interested you would be in it, but if you're already going to be getting an alphabet, it's not that difficult to get the rest of the stuff you need to get a 6x6 album for free... What is it, you need an alpha, a number set and a scrapping kit? Like I said, if you're already gonna get an alpha, it's worth considering the special...

Oh, and I vote Letterpress too, immediately followed with Whimsical, lol.
